The following are reviews I left on Google but also want to share it here: EVERY CUSTOMER BEFORE PURCHASING ANYTHING FROM THE TIE SHOP SHOULD READ MY REVIEW IST BEFORE MAKING A DECISIONI am forced to come back one more time and present my situation. Please read the following review I wrote 2 months ago and I recieved a response from the owners assuring me that someone will reach out to me and it has been 2 months but unfortunately no one has contacted me by email or phone. so here u go again.qaisar manzoor2 reviews2 months agoBought natural stone tiles and grout for my kitchen and hallway. Soon after noticed a few scratches on the floor and called the contractor and he after careful research told me that The Tile Shop provided us the wrong grout. Contacted the Manager named Dan and on his ist visit he accepted the responsibility and asked for a little time. He disappeared and never contacted me. A month later I called him and asked him to come again because the scratches were getting worst he again inspected and both the times the contractor was present. Dan again accepted the full responsibility and told me he will do the paperwork and have his bosses approve the re-polish of the tiles and the whole process will take less than one week. He disappeared again and I contacted him and this time again I was told to give him a week and guess what he disappeared again. About 3 weeks back I called him and finally got hold of his and he said his bosses have refused to fix the tiles. I have decided to not let it go and have asked my lawyer to pursue this legallyTHERE ARE OTHER TILE COMPANIES WITH MUCH BETTER ETHICS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. IT IS MY ADVICE TO STAY FROM ANYONE WHO PROVIDE YOU WITH WRONG MATERIAL AND AFTER ACCEPTING THE RESPONSIBILITY MULTIPLE TIMES DECIDE TO REFUSE TO FIX THE ISSUE.WILL SEE THEM IN COURT VERY SOONLikeResponse from the ownera month agoThank you for sharing your experience, we have reached out to upper management.

I ordered tile online to pickup here since I live 2 hours away. Even though I paid in full, an employee emailed me asking for a copy of my drivers license to verify my identity. I had to call the corporate line to correct this.Pick up was fine, except for an issue needing to deal with two accounts. They told me to return the 2 kinds of tile when the project was complete.During installation, they discovered one of the tiles were not cut to the same size. What should have been a clean rectangular pattern instead had to be cut to fit.When I tried to return, I was told by sales reps that my receipt says 60 days. Given the buffer time I needed to pickup, the duration of the construction, the time to drive 2 hours, and being told to bring it when I was done, 60 days was not feasible. They refused to take two boxes of tile.I spoke with one rep in Ann Arbor (was told I could return to any store) and two in Troy where I picked it up. Both in Troy told me the manager would call me, and that has not happened over a week+. Nobody could do anything about the different sized tile either.I will not shop here, I have not been made whole, and employees show a complete lack of care for customers.

We are repeat customers of the Troy location. Lauren was extremely helpful in working with us to select tile for 2 different complete bathroom remodels. We appreciated her input and would definitely recommend.

Reynard was extremely helpful when I came in to see a tile for backsplash in person before placing an online order. I'm so glad I came in to see it in person because it was not what I was expecting. Reynard showed me a few other options and within minutes was able to grasp what I was looking for and help us place an order Thank you for saving us lots of time, energy and $$ Rey!

I could browse this store all day looking at the unique tiles and beautifully decorated displays. Firstly, our sales representative Shann Johnson at the Troy location was ahead of his game. He was very knowledgeable, patient, and loved his craft. He made sure that we understood what we were ordering, as an example, I selected a box of Mosaic tile that had different colors and shading. Shann explained to me that the tile will all be different and to expect that. After his explanation It was very clear what to expect and that the tile will be cut from a slab with different colors and patterns. And boy was he correct, but after the tile was laid it told a beautiful story. I have more tile to select and will be contacting Shann ?

Reynard was outstanding in helping us to select tile for our kitchen renovation. We had purchased tile from a competitor who lost our order in delivery. Reynard got us a higher quality tile and we were able to take it home the same day. We could keep our project on schedule thanks to Reynard going above and beyond for us.

Nice store layout and extremely knowledgeable and helpful staff. The only reason why I’m giving them 4 stars instead of 5 is because they did not have the tile I was looking for.

Shann Johnson is the best! Pleasant, helpful, unhurried. Just awesome. For past 14 months, I have been remodeling my house. This was the easiest and fastest experience I’ve had. Thanks , Shann! As he was loading 250 lbs of tile into my car, another employee came to back who said, “I came to help. I noticed Shann was gone and thought I’d lend a hand.” Team work.

I took back unopened grout and unopened flexible admixture, within the 90 days clearly printed on my receipt (around 40 days actually) and the self identified "assistant manager" told me: grout products could not be returned after 30 days. I showed him what was printed on my receipt and asked if that was stated anywhere on the website and he just shrugged, said he didn't know if it was on the website and there was nothing he could do about it.I asked who did I need to call to correct this and he suggested the manager would be in tomorrow and I could return but he was the assistant manager and this was the policy.He then went on to say that they could only take back product they could re-sell, so I pulled out both of the products and noted a date on each of August 2023, so clearly the unopened packages could be re-sold, and that it certainly sounded like an arbitrary rule he just made up.He then reviewed the receipt and noted that I only paid for one of the admixtures on my invoice, he stated "he didn't charge you for two" (turns out "he" was this same guy that I purchased it from).I said no problem, if I only paid for one then I only wanted to get a refund for one and the store could keep both (I hadn't noticed his original error of billing for one until then).So he took the return and gave me my refund.Such boldfaced dishonesty trying to make up rules to avoid a return.Not trustworthy.

Awesome products + service! We had a wonderful experience working with Ayman at the Troy location. He was incredibly helpful and offered wonderful service. I had many questions along the way and he was super patient with us. Tile we selected was beautiful and all products arrived exactly when they were supposed to. Though the project is not done, you can see the work in the photo attached! Highly recommend this location + Ayman!!!

In-store experience was fine. We knew what we wanted and ordered it for delivery. The delivery process has been a nightmare. We live 45 minutes away from where we needed the tile delivered. We were told it would be there in the AM. By 10 we hadn’t heard anything so we called to see if there was an estimated time. We were told they left at 7:30AM, so they’d probably be there soon. By 12PM we still hadn’t heard anything, called again and ask them to call the drivers, they said it would be between 2-3PM. Truck arrives at 2:30. Ok - a delayed arrival no big deal. . . The big deal is that no one relayed the message to us that the drivers do not unload their own truck. My husband is currently moving SIX THOUSAND POUNDS of tile alone. Quite a hefty delivery fee for partial service. Had we been told the tile had to be moved by us we would have had more hands on deck to help.
