Really nice staff and lots of tables. You can almost always get a solo table. Great place to study and they also have event space. I come here to always write my books

Always a great library. Many selections and the staff are very helpful. It does get busy though so sometimes it's hard to find a seat or table to study at, especially during the evening.

Friendly, helpful staff and a great selection of DVDs and CDs to supplement the book collection make TPL a gem in the center of Troy. In particular, the DVD collection is kept up to date with the continuous addition of new releases. Automatic renewals are an added convenience.

West bound on Big Beaver, make a right at Civic Center Drive, just before the 75 entrance, miss this turn and you have a really long drive to find a chance to turn left, drive way back turn left again, get in the right hand lane and make that right into Civic Center Drive.Once you manage to get onto Civic Center Drive and go to the end to find the library you have arrived at the IT spot; what a gem this library is.Staff are pre-occupied with their own phones, duties and who knows but once you get their attention they are knowledgeable and will help you.The setting where this library is located is beautiful. There are plenty of trees, shrubbery and flowers. The library is spacious with a sitting room for reading books and a sitting area for reading magazines. They have a beautiful, well-appointed, Friends of the Library shop with some of the nicest, attentive staff that you could ask for. We came when there was a book sale going on downstairs. I purchased 3 puzzles, one paperback and a magazine for $4.00 - how can you beat that! They have a cafe area where there are plenty of vending machines and tables/chairs to sit down to.Take a break, come to this library and browse the huge selection of books, magazines and media.

I loved the fact I could get some computer work done while the kids played in the kids area

I was upset to find out that non-residents can no longer take classes at the library. I live in a small city and our library has very few programs. I'm mainly upset for my children. They really enjoyed the programs. We wanted to sign up for a few this summer but we'll sadly have to find another library to enrich their summer.

Extremely rude staff! The people in the circulation department are very unfriendly, rude and least helpful.

Excellent public library. Has many books and other things like games, vidios, discs available to members. Most appreciated thing is they have books from all over world. Specially i was overwhelmed to see many books in Indian language specifically in Marathi also. Great place to visit and spend time.

Well-organized, clean library. Staff is fairly friendly. The shelves are stocked with plenty of new and varied titles. Their activities calendar is also chucked full of different kinds of events which appeal to me on many levels. Can't wait to get my library card and revisit.

Such a wonderful place. The staff is always 100% amazing. The children's section is great and now has the kitchen and kiddie corral open where my daughter can go to play, pick out her books, and interact with other children. We pick out a massive stack of books every time we go and we go often. It would have cost me a fortune to purchase the amount of books we've read and without the library, she would not have been exposed to the variety of books they have to offer. She's three and I'm having full conversations with her and I truly thank the library for that and the ability to keep her constantly interested in what we are reading. Thank you!!!
