Whistle Stop Grocery is a small, cute cafe and gourmet grocery on the Red Arrow Highway. It is full of cool gourmet items and features a great display of baked goods from their own and different bakeries. The food is great, including breakfast sandwiches and amazing herb aioli. For coffee, the drip coffee is a standard dark roast, but the special drinks are standouts. These include seasonal specials like the strawberry vanilla cold brew and the iced white chocolate mocha strawberry latte, which are very good and surprisingly filling. The employees are super cool, friendly, and joke with customers. A common note is that the line for food can be very long, with long wait times, making ordering online a recommended service. It is a destination worth traveling for, offering a nice little cafe experience and delightful finds.

This is quite literally the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had. You build your own and there are many customizations. The white mocha is amazing too. Not overly sweet. Just right. I stop every time I’m nearby in Michigan!
