My husband used the Zelle app to send me money, because it was his first time using the App and the money was going to a different financial institution, the fraud department puts a hold on the transaction. He calls customer service and they explain he has to go into a branch with his ID to take the red flag off the transaction. He has to use the majority of his lunch time to go into the bank. Once in the branch, the CSR tells him it’s out if their hands and in the fraud departments hands...he explained that he called customer service and they told him to come into the branch. So he leaves without any resolution. He has a little time to run through the drive thru and try to at least bring food back to work to eat on a later break...only to have his debit card decline. He calls the bank and they inform him until the fraud department can speak with him his entire account is on hold! He says to the branch CSR put the department on the phone( the fraud department officer is on lunch and is the only person who can talk to him and have the account put into active status. The CSR on the phone states there are notes saying his home phone was called and a message was left. My husband asked about the cell phone that is on the account and why was that number not dialed. So the fraud department officer gets to enjoy his or her lunch while my husband and I are out of luck. I still don’t have the money he tried to send me and now my husband doesn’t have any use of his account period and NO LUNCH! WORST BANK . I have worked for Several financial institutions over a 15 year Span(one of which was as a Branch Manager) and I would be appalled at this level of customer service!!!

My mom went in today to withdraw money from her own bank account and they told her she can’t, because there’s some kind of restriction on her account. She asked what restriction and they said they can’t say and their corporate is closed and to come back Monday to get her money. She works full time and Comerica’s hours are 9-5 which are not helpful towards FT employees. She can’t go in during the week which is why she came on a Saturday. My mom needed her money today and couldn’t get HER OWN MONEY or even a reason why she couldn’t. Ridiculous!!! Will be switching banks.

Had a appointment for a extension of home equity line of credit with a personal banker at this location. When I finally asked to be helped by the banker and I informed of my appointment she told me it will be a few minutes before she can help. She had no clients, but was casually talking to her native people. Than she was going to pawn me off to another banker who has never filed a equity home loan before. I just told them "I feel more comfortable going somewhere else". And I did. I find this Comerica bank services displeasing everytime I walk in. Never again.

I've been with Comerica Bank for almost 10 years and I would recommend Comerica Bank to anybody they have very knowledgeable Associates, friendly and treat the customer with respect!!!
