Michelle did a nice job helping my wife and I pick out our new mattress. She was no pressure sales, just gave us information and coached us to a variety of choices, enabling us to pick the right combo for us (mattress, adjustable base, protector, delivery with install and take old one away). My wife and I just purchased a bed from American Mattress and we cannot wait for it to be delivered. Ron was absolutely fantastic taking care of us. He listened to our needs and guided us to a perfect bed. I’ll update after we have had some time sleeping on it.

Ron at the American Mattress in Utica was EXTREMELY helpful in finding the perfect mattress for me. He was personable and easy to confide in which I really appreciate because mattresses are so expensive! At American Mattress they actually have decent prices but also, he explained a great return policy they offer if the mattress doesn’t work for you.If any family member or friend is in need of a mattress, I know where I’m sending them! Ken was very attentive and knowledgeable and cared. ***UPDATE!!!! As far as the bed is concerned it's WAY too firm. We wanted to take it back IMMEDIATELY to take advantage of the 120 night guarantee...well we were told we have wait 30 days to break it in. We asked about a return because my wife can't even sleep in the bed it's so hard!! Also they told us they don't do returns. I will keep everyone updated on this! We are upset because they are basically forcing us to break in a bed we obviously do not like. We ordered the Barrington MED eurotop. On the show floor it's softer which we knew would be the case, but the one we received is not even close to what we expected. This 30 days is going to be horrible.

I went into the sterling heights store to get adjustable mattress base and was helped by Ken Thomas. He went out of his way to show us all the different models and features to fit us with the right one he also helped us load it into my truck. After shopping around at other mattress stores I would definitely recommend shopping at this store salesman like Ken deserve the business.Thanks again Ken for hooking us up
