I woke up to no power this morning and water in my basement (again!). I needed supplies quickly and the entire city of Vassar was without power. However, the Vassar Building Center, Inc. was open and I was met with a smile and a warm greeting. Josh took me to the supplies I needed and then I was rung up. In and out quickly and felt like my urgent issue was their top priority. I cannot recommend giving them as much of your business as you can. One of the best businesses I have ever known, with the BEST staff to help everyone who walks in their doors. Thank you Mike and everyone else. I’m always grateful for you and your team!

I shop here fairly frequently and have always found the staff very helpful and the products better than big box stores. They are quite willing to offer help and advice. Definitely recommended.

This store is a new location just steps from original building. This review is more about a lying employee not the company itself. Approximately 1 month ago an employee of this company was working at a neighbors house and I walked over asked him to look at my existing shed door it needs emergency repairs. He agreed to do the job but after he finished the neighbors project. So we agreed was eagerly waiting get new shed doors with pressure treated wood. The employee was a no show and where are the dependable hired help very difficult to actually find professional workers anymore. When you hire a person hide and seek should never be should have your license removed and no longer working at this company for your behavior.
