“When I tell you this store and it’s new owners are the absolute BEST it’s not an exaggeration. I stopped in before work tonight to waste a little time (it was after 9p.m.) to see if they carried a specific vape I’ve been trying to find everywhere for over 4 months! Well, needless to say, he did not have that particular vape BUT being I was the only customer in the store and had about 35 minutes to spare (another bonus-open until 10p.m.!) I decided to ask the owner “John” if he could explain to me what it entailed to buy a vape that uses the tobacco juices, I knew nothing about it but have been curious since there are so many more options for flavoring and in the end, you have a nicer vape with 100s and 100s of flavors to choose from. He opened up 2-3 vapes that were in the glass case, he went over all the deets including the differences between coils and pods for refilling, prices for replacing them, prices for the juices, very reasonable! I was always under the assumption these kits would cost over $100 dollars, a $100 I don’t have, to get started with one and I explained to John I’m in the market for a decent quality, budget friendly, very fool proof, easy to handle vape. I’m tired of disposables that always feel like I am smoking a menthol cigarette, not a fan of menthol or that “icy”taste most all disposables taste and feel like to me, except for “MR. Vapor Ultra Vanilla Tobacco” which is why I’d been searching high and low for my old trusty! John also explained the reason, in laymen’s terms, why this is feels like this for me and why a better non disposable vape would give me a more smooth, better experience. He showed me many options in my price range, which to my surprise, the prices were very fair, lower than any other local vape shops I’ve been
to lately anyways. Per John, this is because Joost (new owners) do not mark up their prices to become rich or price gage and increase due to greediness.
John says he believes in keeping the pricing slightly lower as much as he can but to provide the ultimate customer service because it is trivial to building a trustworthy customer service relationship to stay in business and not easy in a market where there’s so much competition, you must make it your goal to keep customers satisfied and keep coming back. Well…he, they gained a loyal customer tonight and I hope that they can stay in building because there isn’t many companies that are old school in this process. The world is full of greed.
The store is very clean, organized and although the store is still in its beginning phases since the new ownership (approx 2-4 months ago, so very new) John says the goal is to add more products as they grow. So, let me say It’s kind of a hidden (Gem!!) and even though the “name” has been around for years, it’s kind of hidden back and very easy to miss and pass.
My advice is to turn that gps on especially if you’ve never been to the store or not from this area.
So RUN…don’t walk to the BEST vape store in Grand Rapids! Give John (Joost) a try, you will NOT be disappointed. And If he doesn’t have certain items in stock, just ask and he will try to get that product in for you.
*And NO…I did not get paid or huge discounts to write this review haha. BUT I was given a free cold coke while learning something new its a warm, family vibe without pressure. I really enjoyed it!
For a better idea of products and different juice lines, cigars, I must say the best incense! Check the pictures out above, most are recent. Another bonus they offer weekly deals!!!!
Thank you
John and Joost!”
“Good people, don't be fooled by the looks of those coming in and out of the store. If you're not a smoker, not the place for you. However, they do have some nice apparel to represent the West Side of GR called 616 West. I've purchased a few things from there, and I love it. Very comfortable clothing. Nice art work on the walls as well.”
“Just stopped by for the first time in ages and picked out a really cute dress and purse for my gf. They have really awesome clothing and I just couldn’t be happier! I met the owner too and she’s pretty cool!”

“This place has a good selection of cigars and other tobacco products for most needs. The staff is outstanding and very helpful. The lounge is in need of an update. But the regulars are inviting and always up for conversations and laughs. Stop in and say hi.”
“Shout out to the staff and the manager there Cody! Made my day after a very rough start. They are very informative and helpful to all of your questions and take their time to look for a good deal that suits your need. Highly recommended!”
“Good people family owned i believe, everyone there acts happy to see me and take good care of me, nice honest small family owned local head shop near me. So I go all the time to get stuff to help me smoke and look stylish with Michigan fashion and smoking acsesories in my area. I always stop thru to stock up on lighters and smoking stuff like pipes bongs torches tshirts and vapes when I am going to need them while in the Grand Rapids area which I am most days. There is ample parking day or night and this is a very cool place with cool people who work here they got the deals so get there fast. I think its in Wyoming right by the beltline bar and pizza villa number one. Get there today for your butane and fashion sunglasses as well.”
“Honestly 10/10 would recommend stopping here again. During the 4th of July weekend I traveled through Michigan needing to make a quick stop. Overall was very happy with the customer service from Caleb. He was super friendly and helped me find everything I needed efficiently.”

“Overall decent place to get/find whatever your smoking needs require. Owner friendly/helpful but have had issues with other employees not being so helpful and little short with me a couple times, still good place to make a stop for almost whatever smoking device you need.”
“Neat and clean store with good employees. Like most vape shops and manufacturers, I would appreciate it more if they were able to carry more/varied supply for older adults and ex-smokers.”
“Go see Gaige! He was helpful, knowledgeable, and very nice. He helped me find exactly what I needed which was some thing I didn’t even know I wanted. :) True customer service!”
“absolutely love these guy!. I've never had a bad experience here. everyone is always really friendly and helpful when we go in there. it's quite literally the only liquor store I go to.”
“The customer service is undeniable. Every single time I have been here I am greeted and asked if there is anything I can be helped with. I cannot think of any place I have had a better experience. I might only go here once a week but I go out of my way to go to this location. Every other location and business in the area could learn from them.”
“Great employee service, very quick. Just because they don’t have a product you want doesn’t mean they aren’t helpful. Good prices especially on Tuesdays with their deals”
“Great spot! They have a wide variety of drinks, snacks, basic supplies and are always adding new stuff and updating the store. The guys who work there are always so kind and helpful. Satine especially is my favorite person, he always makes my day when I see him!”
