Switched to this GE after my West Bloomfield location closed and I couldn't get into the Waterford one.So far so good, the quote I signed was right on par with what I was charged at my old office, the hygienist was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. The dentist was running behind but only by 5 or so minutes - fairly normal!

The staff is extremely polite. I feel nickel and dimed, make sure you ask if anything is optional on the treatment plan before any service(s) are performed.

I have never had such a hard time making an appointment before. The website gives you options that aren't correct at all, then the scheduling team doesn't want to help look up insurance info, and won't schedule me without it. Truly, just a horrible experience and I haven't even walked in the door! I have been trying for 3 weeks to get an appointment!

Dr Yaldo is very nice and professional. So far my crown and fillings are doing well. I just feel that the office needs more help, since the Drs assistant was not present. Very disappointed in the rest of the staff. Didn’t have any billing problems at my old GE office. They seemed to have no accurate records of my previous periodontal cleanings from before. Hygienist just anxious to do extensive work on my teeth after being 20+ minutes late and sounding rushed. I will get another opinion. I was told my Ins doesn’t cover anything that they wanted to do. Very disappointed I had to leave without a cleaning!

Trust the reviews that say lots of billing issues. They seem to put a bunch of things that are not covered on your bill so you pay more. I paid $700 for a routine that was only suppose to cost $218 because they told me the insurance did not cover any of it when it they actually covered it. So they added parts to the procedure that were not covered to make more money. The lady Barb is super rude on the phone and I can’t get straight answer as to what is going on with my charges. They also seem to use a lot of scare tactics and try to panic you into treatments. Now I seem to be unable to get a call back from their office.

Never will I be backThey charged me saying my insurance didn't pay for deep scale cleaning which in fact they did.They don't bill your insurance so they get more money out of pocket from their patients.Beware they are scammers and front desk are rude when you question them about it

I have got the same billing issue as some people here are complaining about. They didn’t bill my treatment cost according to my insurance In-network pricing policy and tried to bill/overcharge me the balance so that they will get paid for the same line item by both of insurance and patient. I talked to my insurance company and my insurance company attempted to contact this branch office to correct their billing. However they never responded to my insurance.Besides, the receptionist lady was very rude. When I asked her to correct her billing error, she started showing me her attitude and started bad mouthing about me with her colleagues while I was still sitting in the waiting room ( right in front of me). Very unprofessional and rude!The hygienist was ok but didn’t like the fact that she threatened me saying my gum was very deteriorating and I must get a special/expensive cleaning and treatment next time although none of the past hygienists and dentists mentioned about the issue 6 months ago.Never going back to Great Expressions ( I had an admin issue at Wixom branch as well). Time to switch my dentist.

Be extra cautious with any payments this branch asks you to make. They are notorious for not billing all line items to your insurance and finding a way to charge you for more money. Ask for an itemized receipt for every procedure and make sure you follow up with your insurance.
