Catering is an art. It’s an intricate dance between creativity and functionalism. It should be a personal experience. What story are you telling with this dish? Is it your grandmothers’ signature recipe, re-envisioned and modernized to feed 200 of your nearest and dearest? Is it a-better-than-the-original version of your favorite dip from your home state garnishing popcorn chicken as late night snack? Does it take you back to your childhood…to warmth, to happiness, to love…Ratatouille-style? Catering like this exists, and it can be for everyone.

It should be logistically possible and stunningly creative. The Team should work together, smile and be friendly, and prove knowledgeable of the presentation they’re serving to guests. Venue considerations should be made to allow service to flow smoothly, if needed. Safe electrical solutions and working conditions should be accommodated, at a minimum. Colorful, fresh, and locally-sourced ingredients allow the food to speak for itself. Simple and resourceful flavor combinations make the most interesting appeal factor, which gives a mouthwatering shock to your tastebuds. Temperature matters. Signage matters, whether or not it’s ever read.

In an environment drowning in harmful pollutants, food should be properly sourced, stored, prepared, and disposed of. Allergies and dietary restrictions are taken care of. The Team who works hard together, also breaks bread together. They give honest feedback, push each other to be better, and take care of each other. They make sure no one goes home hungry, including the vendors, venue staff, security, everyone. Good food is the best “Thank You”, as well as the best marketing. Ethics matter.

IT’S DELICIOUS! I repeat: Catering for large crowds can be delicious! It should be open-minded, varietal, yet balanced. The type of service should be sensible for the occasion. The menu should make you EXCITED, and you know you’re coming back for seconds. Your Caterer should ask questions to pull all of this out of you, to fully ensure that your event experience is extraordinary.

I cannot recommend Skosh enough! We hired Skosh for a corporate holiday lunch and everything was truly amazing. The food was GREAT, communication with Rachel was a breeze and her on-site staff went over and above. Everyone was so happy with the event. I am planning on using Skosh for future events and would recommend them to anyone!

They perfectly balanced vegan meals with carnivore meals, and the quality and taste of the food was amazing. We got so many compliments on the food and a week later are still getting texts about how great it was. They were also very friendly and professional on the day of the event and made sure everything ran smoothly and on time. If you listen to any Google Review in your life- let it be this one. Hire Skosh and do their Ramen Bar.I hired Skosh for a corporate holiday party and I cannot say enough good things. I have never seen our attendees go back for seconds, thirds, fourths so many times before at any of our other events! Communication with Rachel was great- speedy replies, great suggestions and simple logistics. I would recommend Skosh to anyone and for any type of event, you will not regret it. When it comes to food, they know what they are doing!

I cannot say enough positive things about Skosh Catering and Rachel. Rachel went above and beyond her scope of work, helping us with set up and even bringing us some coffee! Her team was professional and so efficient! Our schedule ended up running late, and they adapted, serving food quietly during a speaker! I never noticed them. We've done an annual event and this is probably the most compliments we've received on the food! It was great! I cannot recommend them enough!!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. Skosh is an incredible business with even better food. I cannot even begin to count the amount of guests that told us that our wedding food was the best they had ever had and that it was "actually" amazing and they were going up for more. Kenny and Rachel are kind, easy to work with, responsive, and beyond professional. Our food idea wasn't the most traditional and they did nothing but support us throughout the process. What an amazing experience. We will never be able to thank them enough for being part of our special day!

Book it! DO IT! Hands down the BEST Choice! Skosh was a pleasure to work with and the guests keep talking about how good the food was. The only downside is your family may fight over the leftovers....it's that good! ? the s'more cookies was also a perfect touch to our fall wedding. The food was perfect temperature, great flavor profile, presentation, and staff was on top of every detail! They left us nothing to worry about. Rachel and chef Kenny are the dream team!!! You can be confident in this wedding/event decision!!! They will help make any vision come to life.Happy planning :) you got this!

Only hire Skosh if you want 80% of your event conversation to revolve around how amazing the food was. ;)The entire experience from our initial inquiry to the final event couldn’t have been any better. They truly think of every detail to ensure a flawless event. The food was inventive, flavorful, and beautifully presented. 100/10 can not recommend enough.

Rachel and Chef Kenny catered our wedding and we had such a wonderful experience with them. They showed their expertise and professionalism from the start when we were discussing potential ideas and building the menu.We were looking for an elevated, fine dining experience with a Japanese twist and they delivered above and beyond our expectations. People were raving about the appetizers and main course all night!Fantastic people in general. We are happy to know them!

Skosh just catered a totally custom, off-site (no kitchen at the venue), 200 person wedding this past weekend for us and we could not recommend them highly enough.Not only is Chef Kenny incredibly talented with our guests raving about the food, but the way Rachel and her team managed everything from menu choices to delivery and execution truly made for a spectacular evening.They are flexible, responsive and solution driven on everything from menu, service style and budget.We've had a large number of guests follow-up to comment about the food so if you are considering hiring them, stop the search as you don't need to look any further.

Kenny & Rachel are an absolute dream team! We hired Skosh for our March wedding & I'll preface this by saying, with 10+ years working as a catering coordinator, I had very high expectations of our caterer.Right off the bat, I hit it off with Rachel - we spoke the same language when it came to catering & events. She was instrumental in the planning of our wedding (at the time we were planning from out of state) and I can't thank her enough for answering all of my trillion emails and questions, sometimes lending her local insight to matters entirely unrelated to their catering services. Rachel went above and beyond from the beginning planning stages through execution.Chef Kenny is so passionate for his craft - you can tell through his food that he truly loves what he does and we knew as soon as we did our tasting that they were without a doubt going to cater our wedding!We are so happy with out decision and people are still complimenting us on how great the food & service were (the short ribs, mouthwatering!)

WOW. My husband and I used Skosh for out May 20, 2023 wedding and I don't even have the words for how amazing Kenny and Rachel are. We tried a few caterer tastings and as soon as we met Kenny and Rachel and had our tasting, we were sold.Skosh created a truly unique menu based on our likes and dislikes, and then helped us to fit that menu into our budget. They were even willing to do milkshakes for dessert with us! They were also so easy to work with and were really fast with communication. I also appreciated their flexibility and their help with planning. I personally have some food allergies/dietary restrictions, and they were able to make the whole menu accommodate this, as well as accommodating guest restrictions.We had RAVE reviews from our guests. At the wedding, people were telling myself and my parents "Best wedding food ever. This is delicious. I'm stuffed." After the wedding, multiple people reached out to say they loved the food, that it tasted amazing and they appreciate the variety. I even had a few future brides reach out for their information because they want to use Skosh for their weddings.If you need a caterer for anything, please, please use Skosh!! You are in such amazing hands.
