After doing some scrolling on the reviews, I came to the conclusion that if you are a person of color, In this specific case BLACK, then you should not shop here if you’re looking for a good car! The way I was treated here was horrible. I purchased a used 2016 silver Chevrolet malibu lt from Hamilton Chevrolet on December 16, 2022, paid in cash $15,219. Told the sales rep, Greg Kansier, my situation in finding a vehicle that was similar to my last. My insurance company confirmed that my previous vehicle (2016 Chevrolet malibu ls) was total loss. Being told this horrible news already I turned to Hamilton Chevrolet for hopes in finding a vehicle that could get me through college and be just like my previous one. The salesman Greg, made me feel at ease telling me that all vehicles are “inspected”. I purchased this car at 20 years old while working full-time and being part time in college. Coming here was the worst mistake I ever made in my life, I promise! 2 months after purchasing this vehicle I had oil leaks in the driveway & then the check engine light pops on while I was driving with the air on, on FEBRUARY 16, 2023. Took it to Hamilton right after this incident and finally got it looked at on March 24, 2023, was told I just needed a new oil pump. Was forced to pay $978.16 even though I just paid $15,000! but okay I paid(click on page to see all evidence). Few months after paying for the oil pump, the check engine popped up again for a whole day then went away completely, took it there again. Was told “I needed an oil change”. I received one 1 1/2 months before this visit, but I let them do it still. Then July of 2024, check engine comes on again. I took it back to Hamilton in August 2024. The service guy calls & says “To replace all components of the engine it would cost around 5000$ to get fixed, to replace the engine it would be more than that” Guys, you see this was the issue all along? The check engine light has been cutting on and off since I bought the car! It wasn't because of the OIL! They knew this vehicle was in engine failure before I bought it INCLUDING GREG WHO SOLD THE CAR! BASED ON THE EVIDENCE THIS VEHICLE WAS NEVER INSPECTED. JUST EVIL! That’s how I would describe this place. 2 weeks after the service department tells me this I receive a letter in the mail stating “We would like to purchase your 2016 Chevrolet Malibu and are willing to pay more” I took my vehicle here again, they looked at it. 10 minutes later they told me “We would like to offer $5,000”. I said “This vehicle gave me non-stop problems since I purchased it from here, and your service department just told me last month this car is in engine failure but I can only get $5,000 back if I give it back to you? That’s a $11,000 loss for me and it’s unfair” The front desk agent John said “I’m very sorry that that happened to you, I’m going to ask if it could be a better deal” comes back, says “The best I can do is give the 5,000$ and if you want a newer vehicle from us I could hook you up with the best deal” After he said this I immediately left with my father, Why would I want another vehicle from here? So I declined. My mother noticed me extremely stressed out, said I should get a second opinion about the mechanical issue to be sure about the diagnosis. Fast forward to September 27th, 2024, I'm being told again this time by Champion Hargreaves that I’m in engine failure and the oil is leaking, & it would cost me 9,000$ to put a new engine in. Its only been 20 months since I purchased my vehicle from Hamilton Chevrolet! I was charged $15,219, for a car with engine failure!! This is not right at all. To anyone looking at this review don’t shop here, this is coming from someone who spent 16,000$+ here! Now I’m stuck again with the check engine light currently on! But this time, the truth was finally told.. A YEAR LATER! The people here have no hearts. WARNING STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE BUYING A USED CAR! MY DAUGHTER BOUGHT A USED CAR FROM HAMILTON CHEVROLET DECEMBER OF 2022. A COUPLE MONTHS LATER WHILE IN MY DRIVEWAY SAW OIL /CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON..TOOK IT BACK TO HAMILTON THEY SAID THEY CHECKED AND DID AN OIL CHANGE WITHIN THE 90 DAY WARRANTY. 91 Days AFTER PURCHASE TOOK IT BACK!! SAME PROBLEM CHECK ENGINE LIGHT! THIS TIME THEY CHECKED AND SAID OIL PUMP NEEDS REPLACING.. UPSET SHE JUST SPENT $15,000 ON THIS CAR ! GOT IT REPLACED! 7 Months LATER CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON AGAIN.. TOOK IT BACK AND NOW THEY SAY SHE HAVE TO REPLACE HER ENGINE … 5000 MORE DOLLARS IT HAS NOT BEEN 2 YEARS OF PURCHASE !! THIS PLACE SOLD HER A CAR WITH A BAD ENGINE! SHE HAS BOUGHT HER CAR BACK 3 TIMES AND KEPT GETTING THE RUN AROUND . THEY TOLD HER HER OIL CHANGE AND HER OIL PUMP WAS THE PROBLEM FOR HER CHECK ENGINE LIGHT BEING ON! MY DAUGHTER WORKS AND IS IN COLLEGE SHE DOES NOT DESERVE THIS! SAD HAMILTON HAS BEEN ONE OF MY TRUSTED DEALERSHIPS.. SHE PAID 15 THOUSAND FOR A 2016 CHEVY MALIBU USED, AND YES I HAVE THE RECEIPTS! SMH THINKING THAT SHE WAS GETTING A DECENT VEHICLE AND TRUSTING THIS PLACE WITH ITS LONG STANDING OF “HONEST REVIEWS” THIS HAVE REALLY COST ME! SHE TOOK OUT SOME OF HER SAVINGS TO PURCHASE THOSE VEHICLE!!

A regular Oil Change / Tire rotation service visit. Took Blazer ahead of scheduled appointment time. Service completed faster than projected and washed it too. Fast service and friendly workers made for a great experience.

Not happy with the service, wait entirely too long. Went in for an oil change and it turns out I needed 2 filters to be replaced that were expensive. It's on me, I agreed to have them replaced even though one was still good at 30%. Was hoping to get another lease in January. The other problem when I checked out using my credit card I got charged with a fee of 7.95 to use my card. So on top of the big Bill I did not expect, I had to pay that and I would love to have my money back. Not certain if I will use your service again.

The employees were super nice and helpful. I was surprised at how quick they were for an oil change and tire rotation (usually I wait much longer at other GMC dealerships). I will definitely be back!! (:

Great service and speed. Found my issue and took care of it quickly. Warranty covered part of repairs. And total cost ended up being affordable.
