The worst Kroger in Macomb county. There is no reason they cannot staff this junk store so they can actually have a reasonable amount of checkout lanes open. I have never come here and waited less than 20 minutes in line.

Told me money services were closed when they had plenty of employees standing around and it was a manager that told me they were closed. Kroger customer service/money service counter doesn't close until 8pm at all Krogers. It's 8am-8pm for that counter.

Worst Kroger I have ever been too. The meat department reeks and the prepped food is depressing. Low stock levels on a lot of things too.

Found what I needed, but my reason for the 2 stars was due to self checkout
The self checkout area by the frozen food section was in the process of closing down and one machine was still open. As I was starting the self checkout process, I was told to stop and head over to the other area, where it was busier and had a line. Tried to explain I was already in the process of the self checkout, but they said I had to leave and head to the other self checkout area
Having previously worked in customer service, I will say the following: they should have just let it go and let me finish what I had already started. You never know if a customer is having a good day or a bad day and the situation could have escalated, yes the machine shouldn't have been on if the area was truly closed, but it's better to accommodate for the extra customer rather than potentially causing a conflict

I only give it a four star because as an employee especially stockers should be checking for expiration dates, it's their job. I went there last night around 8 check out around 830 9 pm but I didn't bother to check a date on the item I bought because there wasn't a reduced sticker on there, I get home probably about an hour or so later after that something told me to check it, use by October 3rd 2024, like almost a week expired, please start checking all your dates especially at this location. I'm about to just get a refund for it..

This is an overall decent Kroger location with fairly well stocked shelves and quality items. It's conveniently located in Madison Heights on dequindre just north of Eleven Mile Road and in a large shopping center with many other amenities including a Kroger gas station which has well priced gas.

Pitiful excuse for Manager, pitiful, excuse for employees, slow and horrible. Filthy store no one works. when another guest was upset, he said he’d slapped a manager. The manager instead of de-escalating said “I wish you would” I’m so glad that this is what Kroger has dwindled down to

In my opinion, this Kroger has gone downhill in the past 5 or 6 years. Items are out of stock or expired. Twice this past week, I've gone in for milk only to find the milk section in desperate need of restocking. The Kroger Brand lemonade drink mix is more expensive than brand name- why??? I've noticed multiple items with price increases, and less options for competitor brands. I've repeatedly done the receipt survey in hopes that someone would call me, and no one ever has. I brought that to the attention of the store manager today, her name is Ashley. She didn't have anything to say other than she'll look into it. This Kroger needs a major rehab to restore itself.
