If every store had a “Shane,” the world would be a better place
I’ve been working with Shane for several months now on a very personal kitchen remodel project for my mom. And I can say, hands down, Shane is one of the most personable, caring, and genuinely happy people I’ve ever met in customer service. I work with a lot of hardware suppliers like Home Depot and Lowe’s and Shane stands out.
From the moment he greeted us with that big smile, I could tell he truly enjoys helping people. He’s not just knowledgeable (and trust me, remodeling a kitchen takes serious know-how) but he actually cares, which you don’t see often enough. That became crystal clear when he stayed an extra hour after closing to help finalize the cabinet selections so I could get everything just right for my mom’s kitchen. That kind of dedication is rare.
I even asked Shane if he would ever consider starting his own business. He smiled and said he really loves working at Menards and looks forward to growing within the company. That’s amazing. I wish I could hire someone like him.
I’m beyond happy with Shane’s help and support through this whole process. He deserves nothing but the best and I truly hope this review reaches the CEO of Menards because team members like Shane are the reason families like mine get to bring dream spaces to life.
Thank you Shane. You’re one of a kind.

Your availability and service is horrible! First ,I had to walk all the way to the back of the store and then all the way to the other sude of the store just to order 15 bags of mulch. Someone with heart problems and back problems, that in itself is a feat!! Then, I had time walk all the way back to the front of the store to pay for it. Then we drove around to the puck up station.and called the number they have posted and got no answer after 15 rings. We proceeded to wait another 20 minutes for someone to direct us to tge mulch. So we drove around til we found it abd my 83 year old husband had to load it himself because there was no one around! The service here stinks ! Would not come back. LOWE'S IS so much more convenient and helpful!! I will pay a little more for good service!

They have never paid out on a rebate. I have sent in at least 7 and have never received a penny. Whatever the rebate is just add it to the cost. You won't receve a penny in rebates.

Chris in the seasonal department was extremely kind, patient and professional. He helped us pick a sturdy outside storage container and was extremely knowledgeable in explaining all the different terrace gazebo options. We will be back to this location because of Chris!!

Their delivery sucks. They call you to schedule a day then send you an email the day of the delivery saying delivery was changed to the following day. Thanks Menards for wasting a day i took off work for a delivery that you changed on your own without my input!
It’s why people order use Amazon now for anything hardware and not the big box stores.

Decent store. Layout is a little different from the other warehouse type home improvement stores, so takes getting used to. Big selection of items. Quality for some products may be second tier. Decent prices and frequent rebates. Check out is smooth.

Don't order everything on line from this store. If you change your mind an hour after you order it you can't cancel it and you will be charged a restocking fee when it arrives at the store. The other 2 competitors in Michigan do not.

I ordered an online order for pick up and they sent me a message that’s it’s ready for pickup, I go pick it up and they told me it’s been picked up. I tell them I haven’t picked it up and that they sent me a message that it’s ready for pick up. Then Emily lies to me that it was never in stock thinking I’m stupid. Never coming back here again.

Found what I needed. Never been to this business. Was impressed.
