It features lots of family-owned shops and vendors selling a wide variety of goods, both hand made and store bought, including jams, jellies, homeade recipes, jewelry, soap, and more. The market hosts events like the Peach Festival craft show, which is free and well attended. Some visitors note the market has changed, missing the little store with penny candy, the upstairs, the ice cream place, and the red house that sold holiday decorations and candles, feeling it has lost some charm with the added stores. However, they are happy to see familiar faces, like the man in the general store who has been running it for many years.
