My dog has severe anxiety when it comes to going to the vet. The staff is very patient in getting him inside the building and into a room and they make sure there aren't other dogs or cats in the lobby when we go.

This week was our second time using the Waterford location and our first time seeing Dr. Primeau. I cant begin to express how happy the experience made me. I genuinely felt like my dog was actually being examined and taken care of. I have been on the fence about continuing our vet care thru Banfield(once our wellness plan expires) after many issues at different locations with different vets over the last 3 years. After our 2 visits this week with Dr. Primeau, i would definately consider continue seeing him.We also saw Dr Saeed with both of our dogs at this location in Oct 2023. And i was very pleased with those visits as well.

Best veterinarian experience ever. My cat has been dealing with a skin issue and some other things not eating etc. They were excellent with her and us. Not great news but honest and up front with findings and next course of action. Thank you to Kelly, Dr Saeed and the vet tech for your kindness during such a difficult appointment.

Banfield is an impressive group of people who want to take care of your hairy family member at an affordable price. I was desperately calling around for some quotes on cleaning my 12 year old Yorkie's teeth. The quote I had from my regular vet was $1300.00 and up, depending on if there were any teeth to be removed. I could not afford it to begin with. I called Banfield Hospital in Waterford. I was pleasantly surprised to find out if the dental cleaning was included in their insurance policy. I pay 50$ per month. I can take him in and not be charged extra. I pay for blood work, but they pay the rest.I really like the staff because they are young and very knowledgeable about the new and up to date information. It's been over a year now, and it would be very hard to get me to stop coming to Banfield. I have referred several people who could benefit from this approach to animal care. There are many different locations across the state. I really like the website it's like your personal site for your animal.

Would not recommend this location Made an appointment for my pup to get 2 vaccines. First appointment was cancelled and rescheduled for a few days later (no big deal). This is the only "Drop off appointment" vet we have seen in years- our appointment was for 10:15am. I notified them that my dog gets stressed out and overwhelmed very easily, and has had seizures in the past. I was told it "should only be a couple hours" which already threw me, because why would vaccines take hours? Brushed it off. I called around 1:15 as it had been 3 hours and was getting concerned (again, my dog gets stressed in those type of kennel environments) and was told that they haven't started on him yet and she couldn't even give me a time frame of when he would be ready.2:00 rolls around and I decide to just go pick him up. I told them nicely "if he's being seen right now then I'll wait, but if he hasn't been seen yet I'd rather just take him home." They brought him right out as he hasn't been seen yet.4 hours he sat in a kennel when I could've had him at home. Not sure what the point of an appointment is. And STILL didn't get the vaccines so I have to make yet another appointment. (Somewhere else!!!)

Love them and they're so affordable. I was going somewhere else prior and I just couldn't afford the emergencies. The plans they offer really help when I need to get my dog in on a budget. Also they're very friendly.

Unless you're on the super expensive yearly plan, the prices are outrageous.I took one of my dogs here because he had been going here as a puppy and was charged triple the price for annual vaccines than my other dog who was seen at another clinic on the same day. I was charged a office fee of $70 for the initial shot visit and then when I came back in for a booster, they wanted to charge another $70 office visit. Insane. For shot and nails. At my initial visit they were supposed to trim his nails and he became too anxious so I received medications and gave him the medications only to go to this appointment to not be able to afford the shots or trim due to this outrageous office fee. Had it just been the booster and trun cost, I wouldn't have wasted my time. They very quickly gave me records and sent us on our way. Not happy about having to drug mY dog and be a waste.

This was a very disappointing visit. I have a dog who is reactive, which I mentioned prior to bringt him into the office. I asked if I needed to bring him in with his muzzle because I how his barking plus his size can be scary to strangers. The turn off for me was the way things were worded about my dog. Things like “you never hear no” and being referred to as a “bad dog”, while I don’t think she meant any harm when these phrases where said they did hurt. My dog behaves decently at home, he’s just not socialized. When I asked the doctor when I could return for my dog shots, I was basically told it would be better not to come back. Again how you word things is important. This is the first time my dog has ever been turned away for services and he has been the same behavior wise when he’s gotten shots in the past and neutered.
