Highly recommend this place! If you're looking for an optician, you've found it! Staff and doctor were very helpful, knowledgeable and friendly! I felt so well treated and Dee in particular did a fantastic job. Thank you so much - keep up the good work!!!

I don't know how this placw stays in business. I a< 77 years old. I have had glasses most of my life.I got new glasses. When I got home they didn't work. I went back 2nd ones didn't work. over $600.I"m not going back. I can't afford another $100 or more for bad glasses.

Honestly shocked at the price gouging. I went in for new glasses, and I felt the price was steep despite having great vision insurance. I ended up searching and the persol frames I ordered were $335 on persols website versus the pearl vision retail charge of $429 for the exact frames. I called them and all they said was they don't price match and their prices are their prices. They would not share why the price was $100 more than the manufacturer.

Been coming here for years. Direct and to the point. I don’t have the best eye insurance so I choose to get my glasses elsewhere but the contact options are great and I get the same brand every visit.

This is a great place to buy eyeglasses: nice selection of frames, fair pricing, and fast turnaround time. I especially recommend Dee as your optician. She's knowledgeable, authentic, and there's no high pressure selling. When you enter this location, they'll ask you "can I help you?", do yourself a big favor, ask if Dee's available.

I took my daughter to get an exam and glasses. She picked out about 6 frames that she liked prior to going in for the exam. After the exam it was time to pick a pair of frames. The woman, even though we had ALREADY picked 6 fairly priced frames, insisted on helping her find more. I was not paying much attention because I was looking at frames too, but my daughter liked a pair that she handed her a lot. We sat down to start the process and I grabbed the frames to look at them and saw that they were Saint Laurent. I immediately looked at the price knowing they were designer and they were over $500! My daughter was so disappointed when I told her that they were just too expensive. I told the woman that she should ask the parents what price range they want to stay within. She told me basically that it was up to the parents to make the decision of whether or not that they can get them. What a horrible thing to put a child and parent through. Come find out she was handing her ALL expensive designer frames. Keep in mind my daughter had previously picked out at least 6 frames. I will not be back for their shady sales practices alone.

So far this Pearle location in Waterford, MI is on their second attempt of trying to set me up with new glasses. First time, my vision with the new lenses was worse than my current glasses and I was told that they were made incorrectly, so they reordered. The second pair was just as bad as the first and I was told that they couldn't correct my vision any further. How does that make sense when my current 3-year-old glasses are better than what Pearle is trying to sell me? So much for the 100% satisfaction guarantee. In addition, during the eye exam, I was told that my eye had internal bleeding and I needed to see a specialist immediately. I went to their recommended specialist and after an extensive and very painful exam, nothing out of the ordinary was found. So, when the 2nd pair of glasses didn't work, they tried to send me to a different specialist with the same area of expertise as the first. Pearle refused to give me a second eye exam with a correct prescription and refused to give me a pair of glasses that I can see out of. They don't allow refunds, so they are forcing me to pay for and accept a subpar product that doesn't work for me. And they've used up my insurance benefits so that I can't go elsewhere without paying more out of pocket than I already have paid to Pearle. Drs. Goldberg were extremely rude and denied that there was anything further that they could do. Meanwhile, my insurance benefits are used up so that I have to wait a year before getting another exam with the correct prescription and I am out the 50% deposit I put down and have no glasses.

I don’t like leaving bad reviews but I gave Pearle Vision plenty of time to take care of me, and two months later I still have no trials. They also claim to have left a voicemail, which I never received. My wife had asked for her prescription THREE times and no one ever sends. I’m not convinced that supplier delays are the only thing involved with this poor experience. I also had a good deal of trouble with the exam because they force masks and it causes the lenses to fog. Shame because they have sophisticated equipment and skilled optometrists.

This was my first time at pearl vision, Staff was very friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The doctor was very thorough and very kind. Dee was wonderful and caring!!! Keep up the good work.

Ordered a simple pair of glasses January 3. Today’s the 17th and they are still getting completed. This is my second time calling. I just ordered a pair of glasses what’s so hard this is a brand new place. It looks like they’re supposed to stray away customers not bring them in I don’t understand, they even didn’t call me and told me that it was delayed. I had a call twice very poor management.

EXCELLENT Eye Care facility!! Very thorough exam by Dr. Goldberg...very friendly and caring. Lynn is so helpful and she went out of her way to accommodate my schedule for picking out and fitting my frames/lenses.
