I like this location and frequently stop in here to donate. Having said that, truly miss the old staff. The man taking donations is nothing like the previous donation employees who were polite and very helpful. He's rude and lazy. The cashier (I specifically asked her name because of this reason) Sherry is a nasty old woman. I have witnessed her at least 10 times being rude to customers or bad mouthing other employees to a customer. While on the other hand changing prices to cheaper amounts for certain customers. I actually complained to the store manager, Angela about Sherry and obviously nothing has changed. Seems she doesn't care what happens at the store. Other then a few bad apples the employees here are wonderful. But what do you expect when you have a clueless manager? Store 5 stars, prices 5 stars, most of the employees 5 stars, 1 star manager and the employees that are bad... Are REALLY BAD.

Not at all kid friendly. They don't let you put children in their shopping carts, and they leave their toys for sale on the floor. Then they get upset with you when your children, who you can't contain in a shopping cart, play with the toys on the floor. My children were playing with toys, which we were absolutely going to pick up, when a clerk came up and angrily started taking the toys from them, putting them up, and muttering about how much she hated kids playing with the toys. When my daughter started to cry, they announced over the intercom that everyone had to bring their final purchases up, even though the store didn't close for 30 more minutes. My kids weren't being rough or loud at all. I have never had this issue at a thrift store before.

I went on Sunday around 5 there were 2 whiteladies working there an older lady and a younger lady mid 40s , both very rude. The younger lady started to yell at my toddlers and threaten to kick them out just because they were playing and being loud very disgusting staff people like that should not be working for the church. I have been coming there for many years. And never been so mistreated it’s sad I hope the church sees the kind of people working for them and I will be calling corporate There’s no excuse to be a disgusting human being.

I donated several items today. The young man at the donation counter was very respectful, cheerful and helpful. I then took a walk through the store. There is a large selection and it is well organized. I bought 4 LED lightbulbs for $1. I don't see how you can beat that!

Used to be good! So overpriced now (I mean $20 for a vhs tape?) and just boring anything good is gone from this place. If you see this review go somewhere else this place isn’t going to be open much longer

I'm not sure why the reviews are so bad, But I have had very positive experiences whenever I go to shop. They are very helpful and the prices are great.

Wow, as a low income disabled senior citizen it was suggested I come here to find furniture and possibly a wheelchair that some heartless soul stold from my front porch. After reading the reviews I don't know where I'll ever find the items I need but due to 90-95% of the reviews being far from affordable, not to mention being treated horrible and unfairly. This obviously is not a place to look for affordable items, or have a positive experience. When I became disabled the Pontiac location saved my life! It's really sad things have changed so drastically. Please be kind, it costs nothing to be kind!

I have not been back in a while. when I shopped there in the later part of the day I guess that would be afternoon shift. I get plenty of help but the day time employees do not like to be bothered. I shop on senior day and don't like to go in the evening after everything has been picked over. Well the last time I was there I needed to go to the restroom as I started that way I was informed by the daytime rude Employee that their restrooms were not open to the Shoppers anymore. remember now it's senior day. I am a senior. Seniors can't wait to go to the bathroom very long. this senior anyway ! So I left my cart with the stuff in it and haven't been back. it's so disappointing I've been shopping there for years.

Gotta love finding the remnants of a green sticker covered up by a fresh orange sticker on the week green tags are half off. I’ve heard of them doing this on popular items but now I see it for myself. It’s really hit or miss with this thrift store, most things aren’t a very good deal for being used items.

I HONESTLY don't know how this place has such low ratings in reviews This has become my favorite thrift store in the area They are one of the few that continue daisy colored tag sales and half off fridays when you purchase/ have a blue bag !I can tell that they hire a handful of people with special needs which also makes them as a business very admirable because not many do now The workers are always kind and even though this thrift store is small (which would be my one and ONLY complaint!) I always walk out with at least a bag of stuff I didn't know I would find
