“Wow! What great customer service! I went looking for basil the other day and after stopping at 3 other places I had almost given up hope. When I looked around in the shop there were no options, but the gentleman who was working in the gardens asked what I needed it for and picked some fresh for me from his garden. He blew me away with his kindness and now they have a customer for life!”
“It’s July 6, still early. Joe’s main location didn’t have ripe blueberries to pick yet, so he sent us to a secondary location. That location wasn’t marked so well, so we didn’t end up picking anything today. Joe gave us a 5lb box of amazing, fresh, Michigan blueberries to make up for the trouble. He was very apologetic. That box of blueberries was unexpected and overly generous. We’ll know to pick later in July next time.”
“Good place to get fresh, local asparagus in early May when it's in season. The apple cider donuts are yummy, and they also sell pies, sauces, salsas, and pickles. They have tomato plants for sale in early May as well.”
“We stopped on the way back home to Chicago. We bought corn, tomatoes, zucchini & little red new potatoes. All delicious. But the star of the show was the frozen Very Berry pie. Wish we bought two. Next time we go back to our daughters in Michigan we will stop. Not often is the crust and filling both exceptional.”
