Okay so my review is very short and to the point we were at another place looking for a kerosene heater WICk and before we went over that way too Northside we called the store a girl answered the phone and we asked if they carried that item and she said oh yeah we carry different types of that item so we drove over there and the only one really working was one cashier everyone else was standing around playing with Christmas ornaments and so after walking around a little I went up and asked are any of you working here and an older man looked at me funny yeah of course we work here what do you need and I told him what we were looking for to which he snapped at me sarcasticaly... No we don't carry nothing for kerosene heaters I just simply said okay I'll let my friend know and we left no I'm not trying to tell anybody anything but if that's the attitude that's going on in that little store then maybe they don't need to be in business anymore just my opinion can always go to home Depot or somewhere else where there are actually people don't want to help you find something.

I showed with only 1 minute till they closed. I didn't know they were about to close. They had two people standing outside the door. The one older guy wearing glasses and a snow white clown crown was very rude. As he tells me they're going to close in one minute and the people there need to get home to eat. This made me want to stay in the store for a half hour. But I had mercy on the rest of the crew and got what I came for and got on about my day. I've been shopping here for years! I really believe I'm going to start shopping at the big box stores. (HOME DEPOT), (LOWE'S)

Visit store today..for furnace filter..14×20×1..price was 7.49$..scan at counter was 8.49$ I question this price Mexican girl at checkout indicated the price is what it scans .. she look next to her at other cash register skinny guy with black hair very mad reply customs moved products..I walk back to area were filter was & pointed to price he was behind me & and stated customer moved filter to wrong spot,, I then replied I'm at interested in filters due to higher price...The law in Michigan scanning read if scanning wrong item store must give 10times the different between 1$ know more than 5$ or must pay 250-300$ attorney fee in law suit

I do not even remember the last time I left a review, but today I believe it to be warranted. I had to buy 6 or so paint cans because even by the cap it was hard to tell which color matched my fridge. When I bought the cans, I made it clear to the cashier that I was planning on returning most of them after I could test to see which one was the correct color. She responded by mentioning the name of a manager who could help with that when I returned (can't remember the name of cashier or manager). I brought them back today to a different cashier on duty. For whatever reason, she felt the need to say the same thing over and over to me like I did not hear her the first time when she said that she could not return used cans. My response of course was that this was already established upfront that I would return them, and again she repeated herself. When I asked for store credit, she repeated herself again like a robot. I then insisted on talking with a manager. He said the same thing she said, now making me feel like an idiot. From one manager to another: Consider training the 1st cashier (she was definitely new as I had not seen her before) to let the customer know your policy and/or put a sign next to the spray paint indicating it so this doesn't happen. in the future. On a different note, there are some employees and managers in the store that are helpful, but I have had poor experiences in the past. I go here out of convenience, but now I will make the trip to ACE on Merriman, where they great you and ask if you want help finding something at the door. Here, there is a perpetual salesman just past the entry, or otherwise someone collecting donations in the vestibule between both doors.

HANDS DOWN the best Hardware in Wayne County and Possibly further. Always Very helpful and knowledge. I wanna thank the Cashier I belive Koren She was Very Sweet and Nice. She made sure I had what I NEEDED????????????????

Workers were very rude. Came in the store at 7 (store closes at 8) just wanting to grab a lock and that’s it. The workers proceeded to follow my family (my veteran husband and two siblings of ours) around trying to push them out of the store as if there was any bad intention. Told my young siblings they weren’t allowed to even be in there when they had clear adult supervision. Very disappointing and insulting behavior. We will not be returning.

I've been shopping at this store since I was a child with my dad. It was then as is still now a very pleasant, helpful, & friendly hardware & more store I've ever been in.
