“Chaps is a diamond in the rough! With all the big box and online pet stores, it's nice to be able to go in, have a conversation with someone who is knowledgeable about their products, not be rushed and pay a fair price. And, they have supplies for your chickens! It is a fairly small store but every inch is packed with products. Support your local small businesses!”
“This was my first time stopping into the shop and I’m so glad I did. The owner was incredibly kind and welcoming. We had a great conversation about how he got started with the bakery and you can really feel his passion for what he does. It made the experience so special. They even have a photo wall featuring customer’s pets, which I thought was a meaningful way to include the community in the business.
The moment I walked in, I could tell everything was made with so much love and care for our pets. There were so many adorable and creative treats to choose from. I honestly had a hard time deciding, so I ended up leaving with a bunch for my dog. The prices were super reasonable too, which was such a nice surprise given the quality.
It’s rare to find a place that puts this much heart into what they do. I’ll definitely be back and I can’t wait to bring my pup with me next time. :-)”

“I can't speak highly enough about this place! I've been going there for 30+ years with our first family dogs to my own dogs. Everyone is extremely helpful and willing to go out of their way to get any answers you need. For years I go in, and many know me and my dog by name, and that has been huge in getting the help I need for my pups. If I could, I'd give them a 10/10 rating. Any other place is nowhere near as helpful, kind, or clean, in my opinion.”

“Words can not express how happy I am to have a "true" and "valued" True Value near me. I have a couple of other locations closer. But this shop takes the cake. Screen Doors done in house and a commitment to understanding what thier customers need and not looking to over sell what they don't need.
Randy is amazing and totally helped me with a mini project. My idea would of cost be a bunch in parts and have me doing a bunch of labor and not sure I could of even done it.
Randy's idea was about 10$ out the door. Customer for life.

“Love the convenience of the store and the area. A lot of items and brands to choose from. My cat I feed only ProPlan pate wet cat food. This store carries some options but not many for this brand. It's hard to find a store with a good variety. I always stop here when in the area. Nice store with friendly and helpful staff.”

“We LOVE Feed Rite. We come here for Dr. Gary's pet food but love the huge variety of products they carry. The staff has ALWAYS been so kind. I can't think of a negative, or even remotely sub-par, interaction with anyone working here. They are eager to help, greet you warmly at the door and their prices are awesome. We love supporting small businesses in Belleville. While we could order food or toys on Amazon or other big companies, we really value plugging back into our community and feeling like our dollars are going farther than just lining some big CEOs pocket.Keep being awesome Feed Rite! “The self wash area was just what I needed so that I didn't have to wash my Boerboel in the tub. The was area was big enough for him to get in, but not big enough for him to spin around. The staff was very nice and te price wasn't bad. I will definitely go there again.”

“I’ve had a handful of orders from Cherry Corals over the years and they never fail to impress. Everything from Zoanthids to Acropora always arrive healthy, colorful and start growing immediately. Most of the acros I receive from them hit the ground running and start growing right away. Have no reservations when ordering from Cherry!”
“Love, love, LOVE Hometown Pets! My GSD puppy struggled with allergies so severe that he not only was losing hair, he was also losing weight rapidly. I found a very slim selection of dog food that my puppy was able to eat, however I couldn't find a store that carried it. I called Hometown Pets, spoke with the owner - explained my dogs allergy situation and asked her to order me a very particular brand of dog food, she ordered it that same week, had that very next week - I now get all of my pet supplies from Hometown Pets. Although I have to admit, if you go into the store - go in with a blindfold because she ALWAYS has sales going and they're ALWAYS too good to walk away from.”

Above this, they are always well-stocked on the dog and cat food supplies and, on the rare occasion that they’re out, they will do what they can to get you what their need.
