Jim is a great mechanic for your auto needs. From classic to new, he is skilled & knowledgeable to work on them all!
He charges better rates than any dealership and even most shops. He’s incredibly fair in his pricing which keeps us returning.
He works to source parts from different places ranging from used to new aftermarket to new OEM and is familiar with their durability. If there’s something that should have OEM rather than aftermarket, you can trust he’s come across it before & is saving you some hassle.
Jim understands when we need a vehicle back by a deadline and also works with us if we aren’t in a rush to get one back while he sources parts/makes repairs around the more urgent needs in his shop.
He’s also gracious when we have an unexpected repair need, and have to leave the vehicle at the shop after hours without making an appointment prior.
Thank you for always being a trustworthy helping hand during times of need Jim!!! I truly appreciate all of the solid work and favors throughout the decades 🙏

New to Fowlerville, I tried this shop twice now and wouldn’t take my cars anywhere else. Jim is honest, transparent, and thorough. Prices were great and Jim went above and beyond for both of our repairs and got us in on short notice and had a quick turnaround time!

Called after my wife told me there was an acceleration issue with our 2017 Silverado. Jim answered super nice and told me to have her stop by on her lunch break they would take a look. Very friendly and willing to help couldn't ask for a better start to a service request.

My car desperately needed breaks as it was to the point of being dangerous. Within 24hrs I had dropped my car off, gotten my brakes done AND my muffler since it was already in there. Was called the same day of service to let me know the cost which was an amazing price and extremely fair! 100% would and will be going back here for future issues as well as referring others to this business :) Super friendly and very fair with pricing. My husband and I were driving on the highway when we got a low tire pressure alert. Being 3 hours away from home we just pulled over at the nearest exit and we were luck enough to find this spot. The owner came right out and filled/checked all of our tires. Super friendly!!

Ive been going to Jim for at least 20 years and the only mechanic i trust. He gets his parts fast and will fix your car fast and a fair price. He wont try and sell you parts or services you dont need. I almost always get my car back the same day.
