WOW these negative reviews wont lie, I went to this branch just to get my CD issued. The teller was very rude and unfriendly and I saw customers asking the banker to open 401k and the banker shoo them away by saying they dont have Merrill Lynch banker, and wont even offered appointment or anything. Staff act like a stuck up.

Made an appointment for the notary on my lunch for a workers comp waiver form. A form you can only get by calling the state of Michigan. It has my name....SS number and company name. I had my ID, bank card, articles of organization and SS card. They would not notarize a simple form that I get for free as I'm a platinum member. I was so frustrated I asked to close all 3 of my B of A accounts and they refused and asked me to leave. The managers reason for NOT completing it changed 3X. He said I could of just printed this form out and I had no proof. I literally have the article of organization. Closing 3 accounts due to this incompetence.

Rude unknowledgable staff. Husband had an appointment to get a state issued form notarized. They would not notarize because they said there was no proof it was him. The form had his business name on it and his personal name and social security number. The form was to be signed under his personal name. He also had several proofs of ID. They said they have no proof that he owned that business so they would not notarize. He then informed them that he would like to close out all of our bank accounts. They would not do it. We've been with Bank of America for over 30 years (prior they were Standard Federal and Michigan National) I am currently in the process of closing out all of our accounts and moving to another bank.

Vladimir Polakov was an amazing advisor, he helped us open an account with superb speed and efficiency. He also extended all the resources he could to offer the best possible plan to fit our needs. Vladimir was far more than just an advisor, he offered us with mental support as well as much needed advice on our new journey here. Thanks to Vladimir our impression of BOA has been extremely positive and as such, going forward we plan to consult with BOA as well as Vladimir in regard to the transfer and management of our funds. I believe financial management is essentially based on trust and he has truly been able to offer us with a strong one. Thanks for all Vladimir! Worst Customer experiences ever. Came to the bank at 1:45pm to pay off my Mortgage. A day I have worked for many many years. After waiting for over 1:15 mins and no one once talked to me, and watching them help someone who came after me, they told me at 3pm that they couldn't help me. That my simple wire transaction would take too long, and I could only set up an appointment for tomorrow or they will give me a service number so I can complete the service myself online. They couldn't even help answer my simple questions, instead telling me I would have to pay a $30 fee to complete the transaction. Do you think I care about $30 fee when I have worked so long to pay off the mortgage and all the interest I have acquired? I left quietly and called other BoAs around and the Southfield Department helped me via the phone to answer those simple questions, even offering to squeeze me in if I couldn't complete it on my computer. In the end, I was able to complete the wire transaction in 5 mins by myself. Ended up having to pay extra on interest because at that point it was after hours.Lesson learned, - this branch has the absolute worst customer service, with no integrity or care for people's time. I understand being busy and having technical difficulties (if that was it, Idk, giving them the benefit of the doubt) but be honest and straightforward, and don't have me wait till 1 hour before closing to leave me with few options of what to do. Be Warn.

Extremely disappointed. Made an appointment and was told that they double booked. Decided to pick the other couple over me and send me away to come back in half hr. Went back and waited for next 20mins in vain. This is what you get after banking with them for 20 plus years and first time ever to ask to have an appointment.

Line is always out the door with a single teller. The manager wanders around the lobby aimlessly instead of helping in some sort of managerial flex fail. They now aren’t open on weekends at all. Their hours listed are not accurate either. Their deposit box doesn’t fit anything. And I’ve been repeatedly told “we don’t have access to give you change” for my business. As in they will refuse to give us what we need. This place is hot garbage and is probably more functional when closer than actually open. If it ever is.

Customer service is nonexistent at this branch. Vilda obviously wanted to leave early as she refused to assist us even after we waited over an hour before leaving. Although she would not help us she gladly assisted a white male client who walked in over 30 minutes after we did. It was clear that she did not want to assist two African American females. I am Totally disgusted with this branch in West Bloomfield, MI. I am seriously considering moving my accounts to another bank with branches in both Florida and Michigan.

Very slow bank! I’m try to talk over the phone with a customer service and no one dosent want to pick up to they saying there are busy with other customers or over the phone it’s a lie they don’t want to come on the phone. I’m going to switch my bank

The staffs were very friendly and understanding in our situations (as non U.S. citizens). They kindly explained to us about each services they offer specifically. They were more efficient than I expected.

Extremely rude and ignorant banker. Her name, I think she said shantal. She just didn’t want to help me and kept wondering and asking her colleague about my appointment and that she has to make a phone call. So I left the bank I didn’t get to open a new business account.
