“Nice car, wash, but
They use the same dirty towels on the windshield, which is oily. I see one guy wiping his face with a towel. Then, wiping the car, putting the oil off his face on the car.”
“I recently had my Dodge Durango Hellcat detailed at Metro Detroit Auto Detailing, and I couldn't be happier with the experience.
Herb did an outstanding job. The vehicle looks fantastic inside and out, and the attention to detail was obvious from the moment I picked it up. Beyond the quality of the work, Herb was incredibly easy to work with throughout the entire process. Communication was excellent, pricing was fair, and the service exceeded my expectations.
One thing I especially appreciated was that I needed a ride home after dropping off the vehicle, and Herb was kind enough to personally give me a ride. That level of customer service is becoming harder and harder to find.
The Bloomfield Hills location is very convenient for my family, which makes the experience even better. Based on this experience, I plan on bringing my wife's SUV in later this summer and will absolutely be using Herb and Metro Detroit Auto Detailing again in the future.
Highly recommended if you're looking for quality work, fair pricing, and great customer service.”
“Friendly and personable. Quick and complete oil change service and detailing. Good prices make this the go to local place with guys who have been there for years. They remember who you are and care that you come back. I hate going anywhere else.”
“Fantastic car wash with great services and top-of-the-line equipment. You can tell they take pride in what they do. The staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure to take care of the ice pieces, the car is thoroughly cleaned—not rushed at all. I also love the purple wash option; as it leaves the car looking amazing. Highly recommend!”
“I went in there with a very dirty truck, the gentleman spent his time to make sure he washed off as much mud as he could. I didn't have any cash for a tip and I feel bad. This place is awesome!”
“Every time I come in Sasha is very welcoming and kind. I came in 2 dollars short for my oil change and they gave me another coupon in order to get my oil change good people good service.👍”
“I always have a good experience with this car wash. I've tried a few others around Waterford, Pontiac, and Auburn Hills, but none seem to clean my car as well as this crew. There is no towel dry service after the wash, but that doesn't bother me any.”
“Jon and his team did a fantastic job! They took my F350 and turn it into a completely different vehicle. They knocked it out of the park! Their workmanship speaks volumes and Jon’s keen sense for little details as well as total customer satisfaction it first class.
Great job fellas! Thank you.”
“I got the ultimate car wash for free on customer appreciation day. I also got a free coney, water, chips and a cleaning kit which includes a towel and air freshener.. though I am bummed they did not give their fanciest premier wash out instead. It is super expensive at $63 a month vs $37 a month for the ultimate, the next best wash. Other car washes top off at $45 a monfor their fanciest wash”
“This is a great car wash. Far superior to Jax, much less cost. Only benefit to Jax is the included vacuums and air compressor for cleaning the interior, but for an exterior wash, this is the best around”
“Hi””” I have been coming to this car wash for over 20yr”” I love the Wash But recently haven’t been a good wash!
Very disappointed not in the employees but the Wash !
You guys have fixed up all “” The Other Fast Splash but this one & even went up on the price !
CAN WE HAVE A FIX UP TOO!”
“Absolutely incredible!!! Oil change tech didn’t return the cap after finishing. Jay did an amazing job making the oil spills look like they never happened! Very thorough.”
“James/Rico were the cleaners of my car and let me tell you, my car was rough! They had it looking brand new! Mike the manager and Tom Jr were also great and had amazing customer service. By far my favorite car wash in the area! I couldn’t recommend them more! James is a miracle worker on all the tough spots, I wish I had a before and after!”
“They have always had my car looking the best. I’m not sure if their products are better, but my car always shines the best here :). & the vacuums are NEVER clogged! They maintain and clean their vacuums regularly. Love themmm & the new owners.”
“So a year ago, I would not of given this rating. One of the people there was so rude and irate with me to change my pass on my new car, that I was afraid to come back. Did not want to see him again, made me very uncomfortable. The guys there now are amazing and asked if I would leave a review. They are so sweet and patient each time. Worth the membership!!”
“This is a BEAUTIFUL facility and I couldn’t ask for a better car wash. My vehicle has never stunned more than it has after a good visit to the Jax Kar Wash located near the old batting cages.”
“Carsmetology did a great job on both the vehicles I brought in. In particular, the exterior detailing and waxing made my 2000 Boxster look amazing! It was being listed for sale the next day, and within a couple of days it sold for full asking price. There were many comments about how great the car looked. Ryan, the asst. manager, was super friendly and helpful. He made sure that the interior and exterior detail work met high standards, and that nothing was overlooked. The crew was very hardworking. They do the detail work for a lot of the local dealerships, including Porsche Novi. Highly recommend, especially if you are putting your car on sale soon.”
“Since they have been under new ownership, the old Foster's. They offer underbody wash for the same price $9 which leaves you with the $1 tip to give the that hand dries you off right there.
$10 wash, salt from the roads and snow taken care of from the underbody wash, hand dried, on my way! The monthly unlimited wash is also a great option in these cold weather conditions because if it's on your way home have a garage, the damage that the salt does will be reduced significantly.”
“They take their time and make sure you have the best wash possible. When pre-rinsing, they make sure they get what they can off.No issue spending money at this location.”
“This is one of the few self car washes left.
They keep the place clean.
They have change machines as well as an option to use a card, which is nice.
They have ample parking lot for vacuuming and cleaning your car.
I have to say I am not normally a person to wash my own vehicle, but I needed to clean my tonneau cover and condition it and surprisingly it was pretty easy considering my health.
(It’s been several years since I’ve washed my own vehicle)…
This car wash has been here since I can remember but all new building.
I was happy with everything.”
“These Guys treat your car as it's there own, clean, shine, with a smile on there face shot out to Emmette,Austin great workers go see these guys and get your cars wash with tender, love, care!”
“I have never been to a more thorough car wash. My truck looks as if i spent 2hrs washing it myself. Most other places seem to ram you through, the employees at this place seem to care about doing the best job they can. Highly recommended.”
“Regarding Refund For Carwash Malfunction
I was told at approximately 12:39 pm to send the last 4 of my card that was charged the $18 for a car wash I didn't recieve. The gentleman was professional and considerate. The refund should post within 5-7 business days.Thank you for your integrity.”
“Dwayne did a great job on our much needed vehicle. Came right to my workplace and got it done while I worked! Super easy, paid with Venmo. Would recommend to anyone!”
“Best Jax ever!! I drive a lot and visit a ton of locations. This one by car was the best! They scrubbed my bugs and I didn't have to ask and they actually dried my car completely!!”
“The car wash attendant was nice. He did a good job pre washing my vehicle. There was no one drying at the time. But I understand in this covid 19 climate. There's a lot of room for drying and the vacuums are free.”
“These guys are always so helpful and great. Ethan’s customer service is top tier and Carter, Cooper and Keonte were nothing but helpful and pleasant. I can’t recommend this location enough and I will keep returning!”
“Good overall job, but windshield not done well on interior service, and wheels were not done well at all. Not as good as VIP Auto Wash on Ford Road in Garden City.”
“Best Carwash in the general area! Great customer service and a great wash experience. My car came out spotless and I’m very satisfied. They also have a new parking lot with all new complimentary vacuums and towel dryers. I would definitely recommend this wash ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“I went for my first car wash and a very nice gentleman named. Michael told me about the monthly program where you could get unlimited car washes for a really good price so I signed up for it and then two weeks later my credit card that I had used was compromised so I had to get a new one. I had some trouble making that happen and putting in the new information on the website so I stopped in today and I was so happy to see Michael’s friendly face. He helped me to update my credit card information and now my car is sparkling cleaned again. I’m not always happy working with robots and computers. I’m more of a human to human contact type of consumer and at this car wash. Should you have the pleasure of interacting with Michael? We will find that he is a lovely human.”
