Worst customer service ever. Constantly messing up my prescriptions. I had an aneurysm and recently a massive neurosurgery and horrific ankle reconstruction surgery and the day I'm supposed to fill my medication they say they won't have it until three days from then(even though it's due today!). Meaning I'd have to be off my pain medication right after major surgery for three days or fill a partial script and pay full price out of pocket as they refuse to transfer my script to another Henry Ford pharmacy location that had my medication in stock and they just "don't" use GoodRX to discount. It is absurd to me that a hospital pharmacy doesn't manage their medication numbers well enough to make certain they have correct amounts in stock to fill patient scripts on time when needed instead of at their convenience ! And on top of it expect the patient who has insurance that would cover once only a month, have to pay for a partial script to get them by until later in the week when they'll finally have enough to fill a full script. I explained that my insurance won't pay for two scripts in one month but they would not offer to cover anything even though this is their fault! I've had issue after issues with this place and I'm so tired of it always falling on the patient for their terrible service and management. I can't drive at all right now as I've been extremely injured so not only do they inconvenience and hurt me they inconvenience the person who drives to pick up my medication as now , once again , I have to ask them to drive multiple times vs just once and now during their workday! About a month ago they sent my friend who picks up my medication, home with a completely different person's medication and then I had to wait a day and fully go off of my regimen putting me in tremendous pain until my friend could get time to pick up the proper medication. They sent me someone else's cholesterol meds instead of pain medication and nerve medication! 80 percent of their pharmacy staff are rude , but the minute the customer says wtf once they complain , how about teach your staff to answer phones well and manage the pharmacy well so patients aren't put in this kind of position!

I ran out of my prescription earlier that expected. I was not eligible through my insurance to fill it because of the quantity that was on the bottle. The pharmacy felt I should have had more of the meds but I didn't. I went in to the pharmacy in person and handed the Pharmacist my bottle. She apologized profusely and refilled my bottle at no charge because she researched and found that it was a mistake on their end. I really appreciate the time they took to research. And although I was prepared to pay, she waived my cost. I am a Henry Ford employee and it was so nice to see how other departments take care of not only me but other patients. Thank you so much!

This review is not for the hospital but for the specialty clinic attached to the hospital. The only reason we come here is because of the nationally know specialist we need to see. Technically he is strong but there is an element of caring that is just missing here. The nurses are cold and especially uncaring. One of them once complained to me that she can't believe how many patients try everything to get well and she didn't understand why they didn't just accept that they were sick and dying. Say what??? Is that the attitude you want your nurse to have?? Another nurse made it seem like it was such a burden when my father needed some extra help. She apparently had "too much to do" and made that very clear to us. This is not the attitude you want in an place that is supposed to be caring for you. Smart people? Probably. Caring? No. Find another place if you can.

Had blood work done today. I indicated to the young lady at check in, I was only having blood work done for 1 specific doctor. I gave the doctor’s name three times. She still continued to question me. She continued by telling me of other orders in they system. She completely ignored my very first statement. Even the phlebotomist, chimed in, repeating what the other lady had said. I knew what she said. I had already told the the specific doctor’s name 3 times! Be better at listening, that was very frustrating.

I received poor service from Dr Martha vargovich she didn't look at my chart to see how to treat my symptoms nor did she find results on my labs. She tried to be little my kidney stones pains and said kidney stones don't he and I was offended because I was in ICU in 2017 because the kidney stones and the infection I almost didn't make it out of ICU. I wouldn't wish that type of pain on no one but these doctors won't really no how kidneys stones feel unless they have one. And ive had doctors that have had stones and know exactly how they feel and understand the server pain that it cause I will follow up with a lawsuit with Henry for hospital about this because this the second time I've came and was be littled because I have kidney stones . The pain clinic doctors gave me carple tunnel medicine for kidney stones that was so unprofessional and Im fileing a lawsuit against the clinic as well they didn't even take a MRI or cat scan to see the stones . They just walked in and prescribed carple tunnel medicine and I don't have carple tunnel. I will not came back at all and I never will recommend this hospital to anyone I was take that long drive to Beaumont instead , I search her Facebook today and seen racist comment fr rom her about se black topics yes she's racist to

Cserisse was so rude in regards to a simple task. I then asked to speak with a manager or pharmacist and was helped right away. Very distasteful how the simple task was blown out of portion, and so disheartening because I had a wonderful experience at Henry Ford West Bloomfield but the pharmacy left me questioning it.

As someone who has fairly serious health problems, the quality of care that I get from a pharmacy is important to me. Five years ago I got fed up with the constant issues I was having at CVS with getting all of my prescriptions filled properly (and on time) and figured I'd try Henry Ford Pharmacy - West Bloomfield. I'm so glad I did. All of the staff here have been very friendly and super helpful with making sure all the medications I need are ordered in advance so that they are available and in stock when I need refills. They even try to get the medications from the same suppliers each time for me (CVS seemed to change sources every other week). In addition the pharmacists actually do more than just fill bottles and they have caught (and gotten corrected) several incorrect prescriptions sent by various "doctors" without me even asking. In addition they have also very accommodating with moving on price, and matching their competitors for some of the things that the insurance doesn't cover (or might as well not cover). You have your choice of walking inside to pick up your medications, curbside pick up, or Free Delivery by FedEx next day delivery. One day I received my medications within 2 hours delivered to my home and my doctors are from another hospital (Beaumont/Botsford - Farmington Hills) Overall, I highly recommend this pharmacy. They're a million times better than any of the chains, and they have that small town feel of a place where they know all the regulars by name and appreciate their hard work. Sure they aren't open 24/7, but they do delivery and the superior customer service more than makes up for any inconvenience in the hours. As a tip, When you call the hospital for the pharmacy when voice message comes on, Hit number "8" on your phone for a speedy bypass to save you time.

I worked at the main Henry Ford Hospital campus on West Grand Boulevard in the late 1970s, and back then it was a great place to work, and a better than average place for patient care. The West Bloomfield Hospital today is a uniformly excellent place for patient care, at least in my experience. I've been in several times for colonoscopies over the past twenty-five years, as well as tests from cardiology, gastrointestinology, and urology, and on each visit I was treated with great respect and consideration by both medical and administrative staff. The atmosphere is pleasant, more like an upscale mall than a hospital, parking isn't too bad, and waiting areas are generally pleasant.

My dad is staying a the hospital due to a post op infection from a partial knee surgery. He went in to an emergency surgery on 1/1 and they plan to keep him at the hospital until 1/6 (the long stay is due to growing the infection to find the the type, ensuring the infection is flushed out of him and making sure that the antibiotics are working and that he is infection free for a minimum of 48 hours. For the most part, we are very impressed with the experience. The post-surgery rooms are large with big windows and large couches. Even when our whole family is here (5 guests), the room doesn't feel crowded. Nearly all of the doctors, nurses, other staff have been very pleasant and helpful. The downstairs area (main entrance and hallways surrounding it) is really nice and does not feel like a hospital - it looks like a downtown area and has street names. The biggest complaint so the food here. None of it is good. Prices are fair in the cafe ($1 for a small tea or coffee), but the actually meals are pretty bad. Even to my dad, who was heavily medicated, hated the food.
