Getting good fresh Arabic groceries especially fresh baked bread on this side of town is a lot harder to come across. Of course you could go to Sterling Heights or Dearborn but sometimes you don’t want to drive that far. I appreciate how convenient this place is and I especially appreciate that they make fresh bread for self serve right out of the oven rather than other places around here that make it hours or even a day before who knows and bag it in bundles for sale that have been sitting. Cashiers are always happy and nice.

Iv been shopping here for 2 years now but the past year I have been very disappointed, the fruits always seem ok but rotten when you cut into them . It started with watermelon, then peaches and the list goes on. I also bought their ribs at some point kept in fridge for a day , tried to cook them and discovered they were off. The smell was so bad I can’t eat ribs anymore to date. Im a Chef! So I know when food is off. I keep going back hoping for better,..Bought some liver, was so much bile even when cooked the meat was sour. It keeps getting worse. They buy old stock and just don’t care. Today I bought rice and it has a terrible smell. Basmati ! I mean have you ever heard of such, just as I’m recovering from the rice , I open my chocolate and discover the taste is just not right, I realise AGAIN it’s off! Expired . This place has just gone downhill.

Nice selection. Credit cost a bit more to use than cash. Clean and friendly staff. Go at the right time and get fresh, hot bread and food.

The place was clean. Offered a lot of unusual items you normally wouldn’t see in a grocery store.
The only turn off was the cashier. She was on the phone ringing up my groceries and speaking Arabic to someone on the phone and I understood that she was complaining about something she didn’t like.
Cmon. Leave it at home.
Not a single thank you before and after. . Just plain rude and inconsiderate. Will not be back at all.

Is place deserve no business, they should close down. The owner is ripping off customers and steal from customers by charging them credit card processing FEES as 4% please take your business somewhere else , you just lost my business and I will make sure the community knows about it.

They charge a 4% fee to use a credit card. The real reason I won’t be returning is the lack of customer service. I rang the bell for help from the butcher three times with no answer. Went over to the bakery to ask and they sent someone over. When I asked the butcher for something that is not a huge ask from a Middle Eastern butcher, he told me to look it up on YouTube and do it myself. This is the last time I shop here.

Though it’s ethnic middle eastern but in actuality it’s an all ethnicity supermarket, they have 90% of any big chain grocery store. Clean and fresh. Staff is polite and helpful, plenty of free parking.

Very disappointing. The first store I’ve shopped at anywhere in the US in years — and I travel constantly — that unapologetically demanded a $10 minimum in order to use a credit card. Who carries cash these days? If they are more concerned with nickel and dining me by not paying a standard cost of doing business, credit fees, than with the convenience of their potential customers and don’t want my $7 purchase unless I carry cash, there are numerous other middle eastern stores on my travel path that are similarly stocked and will gladly take my cards. Also, even if they had taken credit cards, the garlic spread I bought had a distinct, unpleasant aftertaste and I wouldn’t buy it again.
