Since the beginning of my daughters education she has severally struggled with math, after calling tons of tutoring facilities, we had our first meeting with Sylvan learning center in January 2022, my daughter is in 4 grade, within a month time she went from not passing her math class to getting A's and B's. I can't not express how amazing this tutoring facility is, they give children the confidence they need in order to succeed. Smaller class sizes, with fantastic hours. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure your child is not just a number, but a person.

I would like to take the time to thank all of the Staff at Sylvan for helping my daughter achieve her goal of attending the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a full Scholarship. My daughter has been able to maintain all A’s in math and increased her SAT Score by 200 points as a result of attending Sylvan.The staff really takes the time to understand the root cause of why the students make errors so that they can resolve the issue. The Tutors are patient and great communicators. They provide quarterly updates on the students progress. I would recommend Sylvan to all parents. Nick is the Tutor that helped and worked the most with my daughter. Thank you. I appreciate your dedication to helping the students.Keep up the Excellent Work-Parents if your child is struggling or just need a little help with school work, Sylvan is where you need to bring your student or virtually.

We enrolled our High School student at Sylvan of West Bloomfield. He was having a hard time staying on track with the online schooling (like a lot of others) due to Covid. Best thing we could have done! From the minute we walked in, there was a level of professionalism that put us at ease. Also, we needed to make a couple of schedule changes and they were very accommodating. When our son came out after the first night, he said it was good and he liked the instructor. Big bonus! Highly recommend this Sylvan as his grades have gone up, and he is able to understand the work. Very pleased with the results.

Talise has been doing much better in school since starting Sylvan. Her standardized test scores have doubled and I am confident it is be of Sylvan. The workers are very responsive to my concerns. I have only had one tutor we did not care for and I addressed it with the manager and hope that it has been addressed and alternative tutors will be used in the future.

I've been going to Sylvan for the past 6 years where they have helped me grow tremendously in math, reading, and writing. The staff is very friendly and always make sure that you really do understand what is being taught before they move on. Currently, I am working on writing with Alan on my AP papers, where he is always super helpful! I am grateful for Sylvan.

My student struggles with reading comprehension. Since she's been attending Sylvan in West Bloomfield, her reading has improved along with her test scores! We are so greatly appreciative of the staff for their kindness, experience, and constant communication through this process!

My daughter started a reading/writing program this summer to help build up her skills after finishing the end of the school year on-line due to COVID. We couldn't be happier about her progress. The teachers have been amazing and she looks forward to going and has even stated that she's proud of herself and the work she is doing there. My daughter will be starting middle school in the fall and with all the unknown about the upcoming school year we feel confident that with help from Sylvan she will continue to do well whether she is at school in person or learning remotely from home.

Sylvan Learning was a great experience for me. In my few months of going there for an SAT prep class, I was able to engage and learn new concepts as well as work on concepts that need a refresher. The instructors at Sylvan do a great job with that as they help you with anything you need. Especially for the SAT prep class, many concepts are tested in terms of reading and writing as well as math, so I found it very helpful that there were instructors helping me along the way if I ever needed help, or if ever needed a more in-depth analysis on some of the concepts. One of the reasons that I took an SAT prep class is so that I could be fully ready for the SAT and prepare for it in every way I can where I knew the whole test inside and out. Sylvan Learning greatly helped me do so, and the instructors did an awesome job as well.

My first session there was amazing. My instructor made sure I picked up main points and key strategies for tackling the ACT. The staff is super nice and flexible by working with me and my family to schedule convenient times for tutoring.

My daughter was a D/F student last year. I got her into the math program at Sylvan West Bloomfield and from the moment she started, she went from a D student to an A student and she has kept thatvA through the first quarter of 7th grade! Well worth every penny!

Sylvan's system of teaching itself is very methodical. Our daughter is going into 9th grade now but Sylvan has been part of our lives since she was in pre-school. She's been able to stay ahead of her grade level by being continuously tutored in math, reading, writing, study skills, and the STEM course. It's been really helpful to us that everything is at one location. Alex, Devin, Angela and all the teachers are very knowledgeable, pleasant, and accommodating.
