You make a reservation for this location and as soon as you get to the location they tell you they don’t have any vehicles then they turn around and tell you they only have electrical vehicles after you wasted all your gas go on there

I wish i could give 0 Stars..I paid online for reservation and after coming to the location (using uber) they are saying i have to pay more for another vehicle as they don't have the vehicle i booked.

A few weeks before needing it, I reserved a compact SUV from the Middlebelt Rd Budget Car Rental for a week long vacation. When I arrived to pickup on a Thursday morning (this location opens at 7AM during the week), they had plenty of cars in their lot and there was no line inside. The agent was on the phone but quickly ended his call to assist me. He was welcoming, friendly, and took care of me quickly. He added another driver with no problem (they were present with ID) and walked us outside to show us the vehicle. He had us do a walk around and sign a form showing there was no damage to the vehicle and I was on my way.The car itself was in the same class as I had reserved, was washed, cleaned, and had no smell on the inside. It was a great vehicle with 30K+ miles and performed as expected.The return went just as nicely with a different gentleman assisting the drop off. Again - there was no line, he was friendly, courteous, and provided a receipt for the drop off, and thanked me.Both customer service interactions as well as an excellent vehicle experience has put this Budget location on my list for future rental car needs. Great job!

The only reason we rented thru budget was we wanted to drive a smaller cargo van. We paid more to rent with this company because Budget was the only company with cargo van rentals for out of town moves. We didn’t have a lot of furniture and I was not comfortable with driving a big truck. The cargo van we received had a huge scratch and was dented terribly. (Luckily we got the insurance because had we taken it to a different town, I could see them trying to pin the damage on us). The biggest issue was that the AC wasn’t working and it was 90 degrees so we returned it but they didn’t have any cargo vans left so they gave us a 14 ft truck. During the drive, it started raining and the roof above us started leaking water! We managed to make it without any other issues but wouldn’t likely rent through budget again.Pros:- customer serviceCons:- limited to no parking available on site- trucks are in bad condition- insurance is pricey through BudgetHad we known we’d be getting truck rather than the cargo van, we would have just rented a Uhaul (Better prices, better trucks, and cheaper insurance.)

Wife made reservation 3 weeks in advance for Aug 5. West land office emailed 30 before pickup. The said they had no cars.

I don't have any other viable options for me and so I put up with the problems, fees at every turn, bad processes, bad employees, ridiculous issues with the vehicles, constant phone and application issues, confusing differences, inconsistent pricing, and other dissatisfactions because I have to. You, hopefully don't. Monthly rates better. Call your own road service if you have any. Over thirty dollars per day for their insurances. Read everything before signing. Take vehicle condition photos and check plates, tabs, registration, and insurance are all valid and not expired. No compensation for problems caused by them but you pay for anything else you can be blamed for. Takes names and other information for all contacts regarding your experience, billing, reservations, and such.

HORRIBLE AGENTS AT THIS LOCATION DRY ATTITUDES AND RUDE AND THEY ARE LIARS!!Agent stated our money would be refunded the same day total LIE !! Paid for the vehicle in advance just to get there to be told they didn't have any cars. Will never return. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME!!!

Rented a van with bad tires, one leaked all the way to FL. Windshield wiper fluid well broke, couldn't clean windows on a snowy day. Key fob battery low by time we got to FL. Dangerous! Jose at New Port Richey Budget fixed everything, 4 new tires too.

Staff was courteous, quick and service is very good. It was my 1st time visiting this Budget branch (corporately owned; lot was fully stocked) in DTW. I was very surprised they upgraded me to a relatively brand new RAV4. Will be coming back for sure. Highly recommend this place.

Reserved car westland online for noon sat to noon sun with no reference that they close at noon, they called me at 9 am to tell me they close at noon so please come in sooner.Was given 2 options for payment.They would not accept the credit card due to it being chime account.They would not debit card due to credit score. (around 600).

They confirmed a car for us through an confirmation email and a phone call, and didn't have a car available for us and other 3 costumers waiting at the location.
