The manager Linda that had short red hair is one of the worst employees that I have ever seen. If you’re going to put a manager put someone that qualified and knows how to deal with the customers . She is very rude, unprofessional, impolite, ineffective , poor communicator. Never going back and telling everyone not to go there. One star is way too much She needs to go and make classes in how to speak and deal with people .by the way she approximately kicked me out and I am one of the customers that I go to Burlington twice a week and always buy too many stuff and spend too much money there.

Had a terrible experience at Burlington Westland Michigan the cashier LINDA an old lady was rude and verbally disrespect us on January 2nd 2025 between 8:30-9 pm it was a long line at the time of my Purchased It wasn’t my fault that they were only 2 cashiers at the time of my purchased. She showed poor customers service, when I asked for the manager, she told me she was the manager, you guys need someone more qualify to represent you guys.

First time visit. Why are the coats laying all over the floors? The coat hangers do not work correctly. If you had better hangers the coats would stay on the hanger, and not the floor. Such beautiful coats and they end up dirty one couldn't even get down the isles because of so many coats on the floor.

December 2 2023 at 4:00 pm . The guys cashier was very rude because I had a lot of idem . I spend almost $400 dollars he was rolling eyes, breathing like he was annoyed . He forgot to take some security tag I had to check everything by my self and when I come back for him to take it off he did not even say a word just took it off like “ get out of my face “ it was a very bad experience today

Just had the worst interaction with an associate and I’ve never had this problem. Leave your attitude and problems at home When you are working with the public. Completely Rude! Smile it might make your day a little better lady!
It seems like this place doesn’t change. The employees are absolutely disrespectful especially the older loss prevention lady. The way she speaks to customers is disturbing. Waiting in line and watching her yell at customers is crazy. Where is management where I cooperate

Update: Visited store 2 months after original review. Store still trashy and feedback fell on deaf ears. This location is putting profit before safety. Noticable items blocking aisles or as tripping hazards. Fire Marshall will be made aware, due to safety concerns. Do not enter location with children, elderly, or anyone with a handicap.
Management needs to learn that if it doesn't fit on the shelves, don't stock it. If it doesn't fit in the back, don't order it. This would violate OSHA.
*Pictures by company are used on all Burlington location sites. Don't be fooled.
Ross Dress For Less is in the same plaza and a lot cleaner and organized. They sell similar goods at similar prices. They do close at 9:00pm compared to 11:00pm at Burlington.

Trashed store with slow lines.
Visited this location after visiting a Marshalls in Canton. Marshalls was clean, organized, and well staffed. Lines moved fast!
Burlington was a huge disappointment. This store is trashed. You can tell the customers and employees don't appreciate the store. Lots of items in wrong places. The aisle before checkout was filled with cologne and perfume, which is normal. There were other items mixed in, due to lines being long, and customers deciding not to purchase items. The aisle entering checkout was even worse. I didn't take pictures of these aisles, due to privacy of other customers.
There were 3 cashiers the evening I visited. There was mess after mess behind and next to the cashiers. One cashier gave up and began cleaning her station. This caused the line to come to a screeching halt.
The cashier that helped me was friendly and did what she could to keep the line moving.
This location is a fourth of the size of the ones found in and around Phoenix, AZ. They were for the most part always clean and organized. I enjoyed my visit to those locations, as well as several here, in Southeast Michigan. This location needs to be shut down and reorganized. While being reorganized, there needs to be complete training from the store manager on down. This is unacceptable to have a store in this shape. Looking forward to the canned message from someone who reads this. It will go on deaf ears, I assure you.
I can't recommend this location to my worst enemy. If you have time to drive to Canton, visit the Marshalls on Ford Road. You will be upset about the Westland Burlington and never go back.
