Came in once to get measure to buy a suit. Groom changed their mind, had to return. Even though measurements were taken, told I had to come back in to the store to return and order rental. Come in to do the transaction and it's too late, despite them still being open. The system stops accepting rentals before they close? Just want you to come back into the store so badly to buy something, makes for a bad customer experience.

Been shopping here for years and just had a young kid try to tell me that they dont sell suits under $379. Walking out the door, there's a sign for suits under 300. This is what happens when your working commission. Look at all the horrible reviews. Sad.Update: Thank you for your response, but I'm glad this happened, I bought a name brand suit at Macy's. The suit retailed at $650, I bought it for $250. The quality was much better than the China knockoff brand the kid was trying to sell me. I ended up buying 2 pair of shoes, 2 shirts and a tie as well as s the suit. I didnt need some kid who didnt know what he was talking about to upsell me. Macys received my $1000 instead of mens warehouse. 25 years of shopping at men's warehouse and a young punk trying to upsell me and lie is what opens my eyes to much better deals with no pushy salesmen.

When you pick up a tuxedo it should be cleaned and pressed before it's put into another customers hands. A claim to "steam" it in the back isn't customer service or quality you would expect for formal apparel. Send it out and do it right. Do not recommend and won't be back.

Only allowing the customer to pickup the rental the day before they leave for the wedding is insane to me. But it’s your process so I had no choice and I was promised all alterations and fit issues would be made same day. Well I showed up and the tailor was not in shop anymore so I had to completely change my plans the next morning and miss more work that costs me more money as I’m paid hourly. I expressed my frustration and I was only told “ I don’t know what to tell you”. I was never told I had to show up by a certain time to ensure I had alterations could be done same day.Fit: pants were the product and they were extremely baggy. Baggier than any pant I’ve ever worn that was a standard fit. I understand slim varies from business to business but I was told I would get extra slim fit when I picked them up to get closer to what I was seeking to have. I picked up the pants and I was told that specific pant didn’t even come in extra slim so I should have never been promised that.Overall men’s warehouse continues to be a frustrating place to get anything from.

What a great experience! I took my son in for a prom setup and he was treated like he was the star is the show ~> discussed options, measurements, trying on different styles. They took their time and they worked with HIM and what he likes vs parenting up the situation. Willing to have the suit shipped out of town to another location. Above and beyond! Super cool place and highly recommend.

Went in looking for a couple different items, and was helped by Matt. I am super fortunate to get him. Knowledgeable. Scarey knowledgeable! He talked me out of my comfort zone, and I believe it will help me present better in public. I will be making Matt and Men's Wearhouse my go-to place for wardrobe choices.

Wish I could give 0 stars. The staff is rude and lacks knowledge. We went in looking to rent for our wedding, the person that helped us didn't know the difference between a suit and a tux. He just stood there starting at us until we eventually just left.Store was dirty, employees were not willing to help.Ended up at Novi store... not much better.

Just went in and was in a pinch. Needed dress clothes for a wedding the next day. I came in and am not a person who enjoys dress clothes shopping. I got help right away and had a great experience. Their staff is awesome!!! They helped put together a great outfit for me and I couldn't be happier with the experience and my purchase. Thank you.

Please: don’t go here. Ever. It was a horrible experience for my own wedding four years ago, when nothing fit my wedding party even after the replacement tuxedos. Now I’m standing up in a wedding and 48 hours before, when my replacement tuxedo was supposed to be in, no one knows where it is nor has a solution. The manager was polite but not helpful in finding a solution. It was blamed on shipping… which is not a fault of a customer. They “hoped” it would be in on time and that was all that was offered. Now, the day before the wedding and day of rehearsal, MOST of it arrived… but other pieces needed weren’t even ordered! I now have to pay for my own shirt because they didn’t bother fixing what they broke… starting with the guy who “measured” me in the laziest way possible: incorrectly. The jacket was too small, the pants were made for a clown, and the shirt was so big that 2 of me could fit in there. Oh but the shoes fit so that’s supposed to be a plus, I suppose. This place needs to just go away.. it can’t operate like this.

I have never seen a company so dysfunctional in my entire life. The franchise, employees, all the above. I had to pay for my tux rental for a wedding twice, once when I paid for it in FULL in Florida when I got fitted and then again when I went to pick up my suit. Obviously I had to just pay it as the wedding was two days away. The lady in Florida rang it up wrong and the Westland “store” didn’t give me any credit even with the receipt (which was rang up as the wrong item). You could not pay me to use this Men’s Warehouse for any wedding or event. I’ve been all over the world and have never been to a company that has been ran so poorly and have such terrible customer service.

There is pure incompetence and the store manager is the ring leader of the circus. Improper sizing causing multiple trips back and forth, totally unacceptable. I would never patronize this location ever again.

clerk couldn’t use the register correctly. overcharged, you get a free tie, still charged $50 for the free tie. refunded only $32.

Tried to pay off a rental tuxedo, waited for 10 minutes with no one in the store that is allowed to work the cash register. Apparently, there is only one person in this store that can perform that difficult of a task.

This place used to be good but they've really gone downhill. I went in to purchase a suit, and was assured by the salesperson that the pants would come in plenty of time for my event. She was expediting the order and would contact me when it came in. I called 2 days before the event to check on status - both times I was put on hold only to have the line disconnected. I had to drive to the store the next day to actually get a refund. When I told they manager "they just f'd me up", another sales associate told me to refrain from using language like that in the store, or he would call the police. Never again. Easily offended salespeople who clueless about customer care or the impact their gross negligence has on their customers. Thank god for JC Penny across the street. A much better suit at a fraction of the price.
