Tried it out due to their reviews but didn't have a good experience- had an oil change, and they spilled oil and then told me I had a leak. Needed brakes, but they told me they were fine - went somewhere else and definitely needed brakes - not much of the pad was left. There was no oil leak either. I am very disappointed and would not recommend.

Midas replaced right ball joint last April. The ball join began squeaking loudly in early January. I had my axles replaced at an another shop just before the squeaking began. So, naturally I thought the axles were incorrectly installed. Took it back the shop. They inspected the car, video taped the squeaky ball joint, sent me the video and suggested I take it back to Midas. The mechanic at Midas saw the video and said it was squeaking because there was too much lubricant on it. I finally convinced them that it was the ball joint. When I picked the car up and they apologized for using the cheap and faulty ball joint they installed not even a year ago. Thanks to Convenience auto in AA for capturing the faulty ball joint on video. No more Midas for me!

These guys wanted to charge me $4000 for a new turbo (which I already had replaced), so I paid for the diagnostic and took it for a second opinion. I took my car to North brothers Ford and they told me it didn’t need a turbo. It did need a solenoid and a purge valve but not a new turbo. I already had the solenoid replaced and it was under warranty. Hopefully, it was just a lack of knowledge on their part and not purposely telling me it was a problem that didn’t need to be fixed.

I called for an over the phone quote, got there and was charged double for brakes. Was charged for rotors that wasn’t needed, but I needed the brakes done didn’t make a fuss although others telling me I’m foolish for paying almost $900 on this work. My brakes never stopped squeaking and dragging. I reached out to other mechanics and asked why this could be and searched online, both said drive the car a certain amount of time and the squeak should eliminate itself. Well that never happened. So when I went back to Midas “oh I can charge $75 to oil your brakes. But it won’t do much”. Me, myself feel that paying $900 for brakes they should’ve been oiled then. I feel Midas company set you up for failure. When I went the man told me 95% is coming from have different tires. I’ve had ALL THE SAME TIRES for months AFTER the brakes. The squeaking and dragging never stopped. People that’s only out for the money won’t tell you the real. You want to explain to me that the brakes are bad because of the tires when it could’ve been EASILY SAID if that’s the REAL reason. “Getting your brakes done and having mix match tires doesn’t eliminate the squeaking” but then again I had all the same tires and the squeaking and dragging never stopped. I wasn’t treated as a customer either time, they seen someone to overcharge and that’s what they did. Then was asked well if money is the issue, I paid in full the first time. Money isn’t the issue customer service is. Doing things to ACTUALLY help a customer don’t seem to be the number one goal getting the most money out the ones we deem gullible is. You have a woman face as a cover up to make women that you feel don’t know anything comfortable. Small talk and high price. When trying to voice my opinion I was over talked and couldn’t complete the statement. I patiently waited until what was trying to be said was said and then proceed with what I was saying. As the customer service guru, First as a business the business is to humble themselves and LISTEN and then proceed to response to ones concern. Don’t talk over people. But what I know I felt is as a black woman you expected me to act a certain way and that’s why you over talked and raised your voice for no reason, I didn’t get loud with you don’t raise your voice at me. Also when asked where the wheel lock key was I said glove box…why are you looking in my door? You have a QR code demanding 5 stars…give 5 star service I can’t say don’t come here because everyone experience is different, mine could’ve been better.

I assume these people know what they’re doing. But they take forever.
Took them half an hour to get my car in, just for them to say they can’t do it without selling me a whole oil pan and installation. Then it took another fifteen minutes for them to look up the price, which was outrageous.
After I declined, I found that I would be further delayed because they allowed the snap on truck to park in front of the bay. Very disappointed

I would give this place a zero the mechanic claims he did a front-end alignment and didn't do it I had to take it too another shop and found out that they didn't even do the alignment because it was all off and this place wouldn't give me a refund this place had a bad mechanic that wanted to fight me out in the parking lot and managed did nothing at all I email corporation and they never got back to me

I went to this Midas as a first time customer. I used to go to Southfield Muffler but it was too far for me.
Regardless, my main contact was Seth. He was very open and communicative about what my car needed. I went in for what I thought was a Dirty Body Throttle.
Turned out, it was a busted Turbo. The original window was a month, by that time I had given up hope. Stating how some cars "go vroom vroom. I just vroom."
Thankfully, due to Seth's diligence, him and his team found a part within 48 hours, and fixed my car soon after.
The mechanic spent his entire day, to the determent of other customers, working on my car to get it to me same day.
I am truly grateful to Seth and the mechanics at this Midas. Highly recommended. Telling my family all about them to continue my new found loyalty to them.

I drive 30 minutes just to go to this location because the staff is very polite, helpful, and reliable. Waiting area has very comfortable chairs, chilled water and a charging area, makes waiting less stressful. I will definitely be returning whenever I need my car serviced!
