I would have given 5 stars as the service performed was great, but for one thing. All was good except I made the appointment at 8am and they didn't show up until 8:20am and then didn't get my car in for service until 8:30am. I thought since I my appointment was 8am, that's when they would take my car in since that's the point of making an appointment.

I scheduled a wheel alignment online and when I arrived I was told that no one there knew how to do it. They told they would have called me ahead, but they can’t see appointments made online which I find hard to believe. My first and last visit to Pep Boys for sure

I can't give them not even a star. Made an appointment for a tire replacement. Went there, they said i have no appointment, made me come back after 3 days, came back lady said no appointment again, and i pointed to the guy i talked to last and made the appointment. they kept my car and didn't bother calling me that my car was done. Had to come back 2x cause the new tired was losing Air, had to keep my car again so long to fix the problem. Gave them a chance today and brought my other vehicle for new tires. Did the exact same thing. Ask me if i have an appointment, kept my car and didn't bother callilng me to tell me after a few hours of my car being there, that they don't have the tires i ordered online with them. Very unorganized and unprofessional.

I had an unexpected flat tire the day I was planning to visit family quite a distance away.
My car was serviced literally within minutes.
The tire was checked and repaired and I was on my way.
Excellent service from Alina B at check in and excellent service by technician Brandon D completing repair.
5 star service!

Very bad experience I dropped my car at 8am for a diagnostic they said they look at around 10am. I have to go to work. I was waiting for the call nothing. I called around 12:30pm the shop manager said they didn't get to check the car yet he will call in little bit. No call I called again around 3:30pm i talked to a lady she put on hold 10mn she came back and said we didn't check your car yet I'll give a call I asked her if she can give a frame of time that I have to wait for her call? She said I don't know. No calls again I called the shop around 6:40pm and guess what the same lady said we can't look at your car today??? My car was at the shop since 8am to 6:40 pm and they tell they look at car and check what's wrong???
I wasn't happy at all I don't recommend pep boys shop in westland MIchigan to anybody don't go there it's waist of time they don't know what they are doing and they don't care about their clients.
I will never never never go to the pep boys shop in westland Michigan.
I came at 7pm I picked my car and took it another shop .

Just in case you were deciding to go here don’t went here previously to get tires rotated and found out they did then for free so went back and had a set of tires swapped and they gauged 2 of my wheels and they offered me an oil change as a compensation as of now have been calling corporate every first day of the week and I’m at a month now with no answer on a solution
I strongly disagree with this store manager Mike highest up offered an oil change very unprofessional.

The whole process was contentious. Charged me to fix something they broke. Spent thousands on several minsdiagnosises. Just bad bad experience repeatedly.
