The food was good. I hate that the last 3 times I was on there they were out of the Town Club Strawberry lemonade. Other then that service was fine and it was clean.

This past September I booked an appointment with Mannie as he came highly recommended for women with short hair styles - and my current stylist of many years retired. The first three hair cuts I had with him were fabulous (September, October and November) A few days ago I went in for my December hair cut.... When I left the salon, I thought all was well - but the following morning when I went to style my hair I noticed that he had cut the front of my hair uneven and completely missed an area on the side of my head. He had styled it differently than my norm, so I had not realized the situation until the next morning when I washed and styled my hair. I called the salon and asked to speak with him - I just wanted to come back in and have him take care of the areas I had concerns about - he was unable to come to the phone but did return my phone call about a half hour later. This was when things really went down hill - Mannie informed me that my hair was "fine" and that " I really need to learn how to let him do his thing with my hair". He went on to tell me that he is " unable to listen to what I want with my hair while he is cutting because he has to focus on the music - and that he has 30 years of experience and knows what looks best" I was in such shock at what he was saying I just quietly listened to him. He then went on to tell me that he " really does not like the color of my hair, and that the back of my head is DEFORMED and it is difficult for him to cut it" He then asked if I would like to come in, in a couple of days and and he could try to recut it - because he had no time to do it that day. I told him I had changed my mind and would just work out my hair myself. The following day I called the salon back and asked to speak to the owner - I felt after being spoke to in the fashion Mannie did, combined with the various problems with my hair, i would like a refund. The owner was not in, so the receptionist took a message for me. A few hours later Mannie called me again and left an extremely nasty message on my voicemail. He stated that he was told i wanted a refund and that he does not give them, he went on to say that because all of the stylists there are independent contractors there is no point in talking to any managers or the owners because they weren't going to make him give me a refund. He again said he would try to recut my hair if that was what I wanted.... As of today, the owner never returned my call. Never, ever, have I experienced a stylist behave this way.... I have no doubt that Mannie is a talented stylist - as I received three nice haircuts from him - I have no idea what happened the forth time - but obviously I will not be back.

I have been a client for many, many years. The salon is always clean, the staff is super friendly, and I always get compliments on my hair. I couldn’t ask for any more. Thank you everyone at Salon 210 for taking care of me through the years! Client for life!

Jess has been doing my hair for a long time. she is a great stylist and really listens to what color and style you want and everyone is so friendly. I would Recommend Jess and Manny to do anyone's hair. very attentive to what you need.

This little story starts with me damaging my hair in a way that was almost beyond saving. I first almost went to an Aveda salon, but called Salon 210 in desperation. I told them it was a hairmergency and they gave me a time slot an hour after I called. I came in and met with Mannie Alfaro. The front desk woman (Sorry unsure of her name. Very nice person) promised me I was in good hands. When I showed Mannie what I had done, he was empathetic, considerate and worked to find a solution that did not involve shaving my head and starting over. He proceeded to work MAGIC!!! He washed, combed, and cut my hair into an incredibly cute style with a length that managed to remove enough damaged hair, but also not short enough to make me look like I had gone totally crazy. He then did a dark semi-permanent to help glaze over all the broken ends I had created and pull my color together. He stopped me from having a complete breakdown in his chair multiple times. I was scared to add any more elements (such as heat) to my weakened hair. I wanted to leave with it wet, but he convinced me to let him further blow out. He is truly the Blow Dry King. Mannie became a real life angel to me. My hair was honestly that bad. The finished result was incredible. It was a complete transformation, and I was beyond happy to pay for that kind of genuine service. He provided real life kindness and calmness to me that day, while providing amazing hair services. I am very happy to write this review for him and Salon 210.
