“This store is fantastic. I love just walking around and selecting from their vast array of curiosities and necessities. I would have given them 5 stars, but I recently had an interaction with an employee (not the cashier) who, while I was checking out, came from behind me to shake my items to check if I was stealing something by hiding it in the larger items. After she found nothing, she let me go about my business. Now. I'm assuming they must deal with shoplifters on occasion, so I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt. But the interaction was quite strange and uncomfortable. Nevertheless, it won't stop me from shopping there in the future. They really are a great store regardless of this seemingly unconventional practice.”
