Went into this branch to close my deceased grandmothers savings account. They cut me a check on the spot for the savings account (as it was supposed to now be closed) but they submitted paperwork to the estate department to close her CHECKING account, which I was intentionally leaving open for checks in her name, tax purposes, etc. We discussed this multiple times at the branch the intent of leaving the checking account open. The banker that was helping me filled out all of the paperwork for me, and all I had to do was sign it. My fault for not checking the account numbers that she wrote, but you’d think the banker can do their own job without me having to double check. Of course I didn’t find out about the closing of her checking account until the estate team called me to confirm its closure, and now there’s nothing that can be done to reverse it. Per the estate team, they never received paperwork to close the savings account, only the checking. This branch has now screwed us out of any money that is due to her in her name since she no longer has any bank accounts open and her open savings account will automatically close in 30 days. Completely unacceptable!

Very unprofessional stuff is working at this place. I came in today to deposit some cash. I didn’t know the exact amount of the cash I had. I gave the money to the worker to count and she said: it’s your money, you should know how much you have. Her name is Teri and she was beyond rude. I am considering to switch to another bank.!

If you need to do ANYTHING other than going through the drive through, you better make an appointment. Something we were there that would take 2 minutes to complete, we spent more than 30 minutes WAITING, for the ONE and ONLY person that could DO what we needed to do when there are 3 people working . . . frustrating to say the least, POOR customer service at best.

Bank of America opened an account in my middle name and a previous last name on Dec 3. I called the same day and it took me three hours to get through their automated system (which kept hanging up on me because I didn't have an account number) - at the same time I received notices that the email address on the account had been changed and that online banking had been set up -Once I got through to their customer service, they stated they had placed a service ticket and closed the account and I would receive notification in 10 days in writing that the account had been closed.I locked down my credit bureaus, tried to track down the breach that put my SSN out there and waited. Nothing. I tried for another week after that to get in touch with anyone there to verify in writing the account had been closed and someone wasn't using my SSN to pass bad checks or launder money - nothing. I filed a CFPB complaint and they have 60 days to respond...Do you know how much damage can be done in 60 days?Bank of America didn't even run a credit report prior to opening this account and didn't verify any ID - or address - and if they didn't verify or run credit, how can I prevent accounts from being opened up elsewhere? I can't. I am absolutely crushed.

I would give you zero stars if possible. My local B of A branched closed and I had to travel to this location as the next closest one. Walked in to a long line at the one teller. There was a person sitting in the desk area doing nothing so I poked my head around and asked if I needed the teller or her to close an account. I was told I need to come back and make an appointment with a banker. I asked isn't that what she is here for. She stood up and told me she was going to lunch and I had to come back and make an appointment. She didn't even offer to schedule an appointment or anything, just said I had to come back. It's bad enough that you are closing all your drive thrus and branches but now you can't even be bothered to take two minutes to set up an appointment. Customer service is non existent here.

Bank of America is awful. They've closed branches, or replaced them with mini ATM only centers, and reduced hours at remaining branches to such an extent that I can no longer do business with this lame excuse for a brick and mortar bank. I work six days a week and cannot drive 20 miles to find a branch with real people when I need to be face to face with a Real Banker. Terrible. They offer no service. One of the worst organizations I've ever done business with.

What's the point of having a phone number if you never answer? Clicked on every single day on the website and no available appointments either. How annoying.

My fiance called about getting a check from his lawyer cashed here since the check is from Bank of America. The guy he talked to laughed in his face and said good luck getting it cashed then hung up. Very unprofessional... Glad we bank with chase/huntington and not this pos place

Went here with 3 refund checks from a college I attended. The checks were written from an account at Bank of America. I do not bank with BOA. They informed me the charge for cashing the check is $8 even though it was written through their bank. One of the checks was $3.04. I’m a young working student and $8 matters to me right now. I will never do business with Bank of America in the future if this is how you treat non customers. Your bank manager looked at me like scum for trying to cash a check that was written by one of their customers. Said manager proceeded to laugh when I was appalled at the utterance of the $8 charge.
