We were told we would be given better quality tires for free since we weren't satisfied with the old ones they put on (suddenly became flat within a week). They told us they would order the better ones the next day and to come at opening time. When we came the next day they said it hasn't come in yet and that we need to come AGAIN the next day. So we did and they did replace the tires, but it turns out they just replaced it when the LOWER quality tires. I'm not sure if it's because my dad doesn't speak English well and they thought he wouldn't notice but we said we were promised the better quality ones and they said we'll call you when we get them. They hadn't called us for two weeks and so I called them again and they said they hadn't even ordered the tires. I asked why and they couldn't give me an answer. At the end we had to pay the difference between the two tires even when promised we would get it for no charge. Be careful, they will try to gaslight if you they think they can get away with it! The worker we mainly talked to was named Dylan.

My husband and I grub hub and doordash.... We had just realized while driving down M59 That are rear tire with losing air rapidly..... We had just put brand new tires on all four wheels less than a week ago.. The amazing part is it was 15 minutes after closing time. We pulled into the parking lot their bay doors were still open.... So while my husband handle his business with grub. I proceeded to tell the technician about our problem and how we were in the middle of an order. And about to go flat.... He quickly diagnosed the problem and rapidly fixed it and sent us on our way. Thank you so much, Gerry. You really saved our jobs tonight. And that's what customer service is all about. Because God knows It's a wonderful treat to get it back these days... That is why we choose discount tire above all Other tire associated places.... Thank you so much and Gerry deserves a raise! For REAL!

I wish the Waterford location never closed. This location in White Lake is overwhelmed and way off on their estimated wait time. I live in Waterford, and I bought my tires at the Waterford location. If I had any inkling that they were going close that location down, I would have never bought my tires from them. Now, I have to drive into White Lake and wait for extended periods of time for service when needed. Our last visit there the estimated time for work completion was 1 hour and 15 minutes for a tire rotation. We sat there almost 2 hours before our vehicle was even brought into one of the bays.

Even with an appointment walk-in customers get helped on your scheduled time. Two weeks ago, we arrived 25 minutes before the appointment time to swap Summer tire/wheels with Winter tires/wheels. A tire/wheel swap should have the fastest turnaround time. It took three hours to do this simple swap! Today we arrived 10 minutes early. It took an hour and 40 minutes to swap our son's Summer tire/wheels with the Winter tire/wheels. Why even make an appointment!! Next time drop off the vehicle without an appointment, and run some errands, rather than a disappointing lack of timely scheduled service!

Second Chances:Yeah, Discount Tire was excellent today. Waited less than an hour, took care of new issue and gave free service on flat tire repair.Last week I had written a poor review.My experience today has been. Awful. I have come here on any occasions with very good service. My appointment was for 11:45. It is now 2:00. Putting sensors on snow tires is the service I am waiting on. Gee car was just put in garage to finally get serviced.

I'm not really sure what the point of scheduling an appointment is. I was scheduled for an appointment, I showed up on time ... heck, I even called in advance and asked if I should come later to ensure I'm not stuck waiting for hours in the waiting area.Even with scheduling an appointment, I was sitting around and waiting for two and a half hours.I was told "should be an hour but not more than an hour and a half" and that time came and went with my car still sitting in the parking lot, just sitting there.If you can't maintain the appointments, don't bother having us schedule them. Better yet, if you're running behind, call us so we can reschedule or plan better. Had I known that I'd be screwed on my appointment with wait time, I would've dropped the car off in the morning and planned to come get it at night.

I walked in, asked one of the associates if they could take a look at my tires just to see if they needed to be replaced anytime soon. He told me he would be right with me, so I sat down Then 20 other customers come in asking for the same thing and they all got looked at right away and I’m still sitting there waiting

I went in today and had my summer tires switched to winter tires. When I got home I realized one of the tires was flat (19 psa instead of recommended 42). Checked all the tires and none of them were at the recommended 42. I called and they admitted that they rushed and didn't check my tire pressure when they changed the tires. This is the most basic safety step we should expect from a tire shop. The person on the phone apologized but didn't offer any help and did not offer a discount on my service for the day. He recommended I stop somewhere to fill up the tires because they forgot to do it.

This store is much bigger than the Waterford store and even has a restroom. My problem is they have you book an appointment, but walk-in customers get helped first even if it's on your scheduled time. The first time I was there a customer walked in and had a price issue and the manager on duty was cocky and rude. After the customer walked out the manager on duty talked trash about him to another employee in front of other customers. My tire issue was resolved no problems. The second time my wife took my car to get air in one of the tires the tech attempted to get the stem valve cap off he could not get it off. The Waterford store had no issues getting these off in the past. The tech struggled he told my wife he get it off by slashing the tire, so a tire by you guys for free? Cool, Very unprofessional joking or not. This store is not my choice, but the closest.

Excellent service. I'm not happy that "corporate " decided to close the Waterford location but it was worth the drive to White Lake!!! Ordered a new rim, they notified me as soon as they received it and they had me good to go in 20 minutes on Saturday morning. Shout out to Scott and the entire staff!!!
