All I can say is I've been banking with them for several years my family has been banking with them for their whole life go switch do not go to them go to vibe or Michigan credit Union .. they're not there to help you they are there to make money off your money and deny you for everything

I’ve been a member with Genisys since I was a teenager (I’m almost 29 now). I’ve always been super happy to have them as my credit union. They really do care about helping you with your financial situation and hearing any concerns you may have. So far, I have not encountered a branch of theirs that I didn’t like. The White Lake branch in particular though really stands out to me because of rep Lauren LaBelle. She is super awesome; not only because she is enthusiastic and really cares about her job, but she’s also a very compassionate, caring and understanding person. I came to the branch earlier today and expressed to her how I was struggling heavily with some financial burdens that I had caused myself and she listened to me thoroughly, never judging me one time. She encouraged me to create a plan for myself, to remain strong and focused; even to find work that brings me real peace and happiness. She truly is a gem. Thank you Lauren and thank you Genisys for all you guys do for me and for everyone! Keep up the great work!

I've used Genisys as my primary financial institution since high school. The service has always been stellar; and every single employee I can recall working with was kind, efficient, honest and hard-working. Working with the public comes with its own set of challenges, but kudos to the employees at this branch that still remain courteous and thoughtful in spite of that! :) People see it and appreciate you.

I am about to close my account with them. I have discussed with them about a small financial hardship and then they take money out of my checking account, without my consent, to put towards my vehicle loan when there was already a plan that was established

Awful will find or make any reason to not approve loans they told me my social security check and my overtime is not acceptable income lol yeah try vibe credit union

I've been a customer for nearly, if not 30 yrs at Genisys. 12 yrs at White lake branch. I just love them. All are very friendly and personable. I have zero complaints. We use them for personal banking and our small business.

It's been terribly hard getting in contact with a representative at Waterford ( Highland Rd) and White lake, you could call 100 times and no one answers. This is an ongoing thing with these 2 branches EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING ?

Good credit Union but every time I want to get ahold of them you can’t. I called every branch in my area 3 times. To just get their voicemail and not get a return phone call for over a week now. Try again today for same results. It’s getting to the point that I am going to pull my money out of there and see about going somewhere else for the simple reason of I cannot get into contact with them when I need to.

They always answer phone calls they always are very helpful and nice. The convenience with my out-of-state credit union was wonderful

The employees are friendly and helpful when I am there in person, but do not bother calling this location because they NEVER answer the phone.

Fraudulent charges on the account. Notification sent to me asking if charges were fraudulent. Responded, yes, fraudulent. Genisys proceeded to process ALL fraudulent charges. Why send an email if you’re going to process all the charges? Not being reimbursed. Their slogan, Where YOU come first, is a fraudulent as the charges on the account.
