Hunts Do it Center, now known as Gilroy’s Hardware, is a staple in the Whitehall community. It is a great hardware store with every kind of employee, described as friendly, knowledgeable, super helpful, and willing to help find whatever is needed. The store offers incredible service and is a convenient, reliable go-to spot for quick hardware needs. They have just about anything you might need, from hardware to housewares, tools, electrical, plumbing, and gardening tools. The store also carries kitchen wares, RV supplies, outdoor games, automotive needs, and many more unique items like bolts and fasteners. Additional services include propane tank re-certification, screen replacement, window and plexiglass replacement, key copy replacement, and rentals. While some note it can be more expensive than big box stores, others highlight great prices and the best price in town for some items. The packed store is fun to browse and is praised for its energetic service and helpful staff.
