Hunts now known as Gilroy’s Hardware is my go-to spot in Whitehall for quick hardware needs. They always have what I’m looking for, and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable. It’s convenient, reliable, and a staple in the community.

I don’t think I’ll ever go back to Hunts hardware in Whitehall ever again, I have a headache so I bought breakfast and was taking my medicine eating my breakfast in their parking lot and noticed an old lady and a man hard-core staring at me being blatantly obvious, so then when I finally go inside to get a putty knife, so my husband can tar our roof, the man follows me staring at me
I’ve literally lived here all of my life. I’ve probably been in that store maybe three times in my life and now I will never step foot in there again

Great hardware store, with a young, energetic, young manager, Zach Gregory! I came to buy a new garden hose, except Zach asked me about my old one, which I had in my car to dispose later. He came out into the parking lot with me, and said, “hey, I can fix this!” And so he did! Charged me only for the part, not his time. Incredible service in this age of ‘throw it away, and buy new.’ Zach saved me a lot of money, and reduced needless waste going to the landfill. And, I got my old, trusty kink-free hose back, for many years to come! Thank you, Zach, and Hunts Hardware, in Whitehall, Michigan!

They have just about anything you might need & super helpful staff to help you locate it in the packed store. They re-certified our propane tank & have the best price in town. We found unique, stainless steel R hitch pin clips for our land dock and they have many more unique bolts & fasteners as well as gardening tools, kitchen wares, RV supplies, outdoor games, anything & everything- you name it! Fun to browse!!!
