Andrew is comfortable with mistreating his customers in front of other associates. He accused me of trying to return a defective product that was used once a day earlier and broke (cheap). He was rude and talked over the top of the other employee that was trying to help. I was so bad I had to cut the guy off I didnt ask help from and told him I will take my spray bottles and leave amd return them at another ace hardware. Unbeatable. So disappointed.

Good selection and prices. Employees do the best they can to help. Sometimes a bit too helpful. I prefer to approach employees when I need help finding something and they seem to be all over you when you come through the front door. Not a big deal. I'm sure they're just doing what they're told to do. Ace, the helpful place.

This is for all the stores owned by Rivers Ace Hardware (specifically Oceana Builders Supply). Recently I purchased two 40# bags of tube sand (the web page stated you had play sand) it was not sand, it was loam with clay, rocks and roots, $7 dollars a bag. You can get play sand in a 50# bag at Home Depot for $3.98 a bag. I also needed 3" DWV PVC Sch 40, $38.99 per 10' stick (pressure pipe, didn't need but that's all you had). Home Depot has the same thing for $20 per 10' stick. You may be local, but I'll save my money for Muskegon or Ludington big box stores. Tell ACE to get their prices in line if you want to be competitive. Ok, so you say you don't have pressure pipe, regardless, your DWV pipe prices are almost twice the big box stores. I'll drive the 30 minutes. Just because you are "convenient" doesn't mean I have to pay double the price.

This store is over priced. $9.99+ tax for 50# bags of quick Crete that are about $3.50 at home depot. Hunts down the road has 60# bags for cheaper. Serve our community? Or screw us over?
