Great staff at this post office

This is the most lame USPS location I have ever delt with. First, we live on a "private" road so they WILL NOT deliver packages to our home. Secondly, when they leave me a notice that I have a package to pick up, I have to take time off of work to get it... why you ask? I'm glad you did; I start work before they open the lobby, I get out of work after they close the lobby, and the stinking lobby is closed on Saturday. How frustrating and infuriating. Then to top it off, I order packages for my business to be shipped through UPS and they pass my order off to USPS and I'm back in the same old boat dealing with a location that isn't worth the price of a dirty pair of socks.I gave them 1 star only because...? good question!

I can not receive mail at my physical address. I have a PO BOX at another post office. Persons sending me items via US MAIL sometimes make the mistake and send items to my physical address. The Williamsburg Post Office has been informed of my PO BOX at the other post office. They do not forward it. They send everything back return to sender.

I stop here almost daily to drop off the days packages and have had no problems with their service. Staff has always been really friendly.

I am absolutely irate! After talking with the postal service about a package that was “delivered” to my house.... I honestly got no where with them! They argued saying the package with a certain size and it fit in my mailbox along with another package that I DID receive that day. But to no avail the missing package was no where to be found and yet it was “delivered.” Asked all my neighbors (very trustworthy people) they did not have it either! The company I bought the item from can’t do anything either because it looks like its Arrived at my house. ???

Dropped off a mail on the 6th and my client still haven't received it yet. I asked my neighbors about their experiences about this place and they had the same experience. They don't take their job seriously and causing mails to be received late.

I'm glad I read these reviews before going to this place. I was actually amused at the foolishness when I arrived. Right away the old man at the counter made it clear he had no intention of helping me. He basically said everything he could think of to get me to go away. I was pretty amused. I mean, isn't it more work to try to get out of doing work than to just get the mail and be done with it? hahahaha It's true, they need to fire those people in that office and get all new people in there. Then the ones in there now can think about how nice it was to have a paycheck when they are sitting at home jobless and trying to survive off of cat food.

I was trying to mail out a bill Saturday. I put it in my mailbox Friday night with the flag up. Sunday I noticed the flag was still up. I checked and they never picked it up.

These people all need to go! Lazy, arrogant, and incompetent, would all be an understatement.USPS continues to lose billions every year, and with people like these,it's no surprise.

I've lived in Williamsburg for 30 years and can thoroughly state that this USPS location is awful. The employees are incredibly slow-moving, inept, and aloof. Zero personality or care and are extremely inconvenienced to stand up for a quick moment to help a paying customer. Or do anything for that matter. Frankly these individuals should be replaced with hard-working staff that actually deserve a job. This is a fact. I'd award zero stars if it were an option.

Rude and lazy is the best way to describe the postmaster of this usps location. If you need assistance, she will huff and puff as she tries to escape her chair. Mail is delayed here 75% of the time.

There is nothing friendly about the customer service that works behind the counter. I have lived here my entire life and always used this post office and use to enjoy going to get my mail and seeing smiling faces and feeling welcome. Now I dread going to get my mail as getting bills is the best part of walking into this post office. If you ask for help it's a big inconvenience, or they will make you very uncomfortable. Do yourself a favor and use elk Rapids or acme post office.
