Was trying to buy a vehicle. Didn't know I had a spending limit of 5.000. So at the dealership card kept saying denied. It was on a Saturday. Had to call locations out of state to get it resolved. Mich branches were closed by this time. But came thur in a big way.

Staff needs to be retrained on how to speak to customers. Specifically woman with British accent working at 4pm on Wednesday May 24th,2023. Will never go back to that location, felt attack by a question I had, speaking to me as if I was stupid. Horrible customer service...

I had a vehicle stolen that was financed through CFCU. CFCU persuaded me to start the auto loan process for a new vehicle while still dealing with the stolen one. CFCU stated because they knew about the situation they would work with me. So, I started the process per CFCU’s suggestion. I found a car and CFCU told me to send the PO and proof of insurance over for final approval. At the last minute CFCU backed out because they wanted proof from GAP that they would be paying the remainder of the loan. Long story short I contacted Alex at Genysis and he was able to get me approved and in the car in no time. I would highly recommend this credit union to my friends and family. Alex is always willing to help and always goes above and beyond!

I don't regret opening an account and refinancing an auto loan with Genisys. I have had a great experience every time I have visited a branch as a member and before I was a member accessing another account I have with a share branch credit union. Service has always been quick and friendly across all branches I have visited. Highly recommend Genisys for great service, great product offerings, their community involvement and the many member discounts and extras that get sent via email.

I was a member at this bank for over 10 years. I had two car loans with them paid off on time and in full. I unexpectedly needed to take out a new car loan 3 years ago and this credit union completely took advantage of the position I was in and offered me an 18% car loan. The person who I worked with, Erin, was often rude and condescending, most likely a factor in this extremely high interest rate. Being naive to how loans actually worked and desperate, I took the loan and spent 3 years with a ridiculous payment and only a portion of that payment actually going to the principle. Today I paid off that loan in full and could not believe I paid more than my online banking reflected that I owed due to extra fees. Do not use this credit union!

I use Genisys for regular banking and just recently refinanced my car as well with Alex Mortensen, he's been absolutely amazing through the whole process and now I have a better interest rate than before too. The mobile app is super easy to use and when you have a great contact like Alex any questions you have are answered super fast and clear through email, definitely recommend this credit union if you're trying to pick one to bank with. Easy app, no stupid monthly fees, great employees, and business hours that don't make it impossible to visit in person when the need arises just because you work full time

I’m always delighted by the excellent customer service but after a difficult situation, I want to shout from the rooftops. Erin went above and beyond to make sure that I felt heard and valued. What started out as a stressful morning was immediately turned into a good day with a lasting positive outlook.
