My moto is if you cant cut all hair dont cut none, got my hair cut today for a simple fade. the lady started out great then when it came down to the nit picking stuff she argued that it was fine then ignored the clear signs of uneveness of my hair it was a simple high top fade keeping most of the length on top. as i type i am crying because of how bad she actually did me my hair is uneven she rushed me out before i could look at the back and overall was mediocre at best...i never make reviews but this needed to be said

Will never go back to her again,rush rush rush that's all she did.didn,t even check if it was even etc.you raise the price for that kind of service wow.well I might not be back.course you probably don't care on that. Just remember the customer is always right ,the word of mouth can be either for you or against you that simple.have a nice day.

I am so over greatclips in general doing whatever they want. So today I tried to check in online & it wouldn't let me. So I bring my kids to this location at 5:26 (they don't close until 6pm) to get hair cuts to get turned away. There were zero people in the lobby, no one in chairs. They asked did I check in online and I told them it wouldn't allow me too. She asked how many hair cuts & I said 4. She said were not allowing walk ins. I told her great clips policy was if there were people who checked in online who was there they get first come first serve but there wasn't anyone there so then walk ins go first at that point. She goes to get the manager and she walks out and says nope. Were not accepting you guys we need to go by this list. You can come back tomorrow. So I put all of the products I was buying back on the shelf and walked out. Sat outside for 17 minutes & what do you know - no one has showed in 17 minutes. At this point I'm on to another salon in total. Corporate isn't holding staff responsible for there actions. Not only did the salon lose 117 & great tips but also loss the sale on the many products I buy 1 time a month. This is my last time trying to use this company in total.

When I moved to the downriver area, I needed to find a new place for my hair as it grows way too quickly. Someone recommended me Great Clips on Woodhaven. I said ok and gave it a try. It was horrible at best. The ladies would not answer my questions and would not let me tell them how I wanted my hair done. I said I wanted a fade and about 1 1/2 - 2 1/2 inches off the top. They proceeded to give me a buzzcut even though I showed them and described to them what I wanted. Maybe it was just the person who did my hair, but if all barbers/hair places are like this in the area, i’ll move back to the upper peninsula. If it’s possible, could somebody reply to this and give your feedback if you or a friend had tried getting something similar? Thank you.

Get ready to wait. I've tried to go here twice, both times I checked in online, got the text that i'm 15 min up - but upon arriving 10 min after the 15 min text I found a standing room only waiting room with 6-15 people ahead of me.
The online check in does nothing, a family of 4 can walk in and cut the line any time.

The app makes it super easy to check in and show up when it's your turn so you aren't waiting forever. It also has the occasional coupon if you fill out surveys. The stylists are professional, proficient, and great with all my kids.
