Went to Woodhaven store today and put two items in my cart and headed to checkout. When I got there I found there were no cashier lanes open. Only self checkout. There was an employee standing at the end near the door and I asked her why there were no cashier lines open and she said "we don't have those anymore." I told her I didn't like that and she told me to "get used to it. Everybody is doing it." I thought it was pretty rude the way she said it so I told her I didn't have to get used to it, I'll just go to Home Depot. I left my items at the checkout and drove down the street to Home Depot and bought the same items. They had 2 cashier lines open there! From now on I'll just go to Home Depot.

I like this store. They have everything and prices are reasonable. I needed work done and the employee gave me great advise.

I just bought 60 bags of red mulch for my entire landscaping project. Some of the bags were sopping wet from the sun hitting the bags. The mulch was of course darker than the dry ones. I figured they would dry out and match the dry ones. NOT! It looks so stupid now. Quality control is subpar. I usually never shop at Lowe's and this is the last. Be carful what you buy I guess.

I've found what I needed every time I've visited. I don't do any major building. This store still has the big race car carts, and holiday displays inside. This made our day, since it was too cold to be outside. I don't know anything about tool supplies, but as far as just talking your kid somewhere to be entertained for a bit, I recommend.

I have a pro account with Lowe's, and in some years, drop a fair amount of money with remodels, etc. I typically go to the Allen Park location and have a good relationship with the Pro services and generally a good experience with customer service, overall. Occasionally, I am forced to go to this location due to inventory or whatever. It is always a regrettable disaster. The store manager, I suppose, prides himself on being a hardass and as a result, just alienates core customers. From trying to get an unpicked up item refunded on the phone (to my Lowe's credit account - not like it's going in anyone's pocket), to returning dead trees, to trying to use my typical discount - all things well within the lines and shit I do every day - it's always a hassle and an argument. It's a real bummer, because it's the next closest location to me.

Been really happy with this Lowes store. They have worked tirelessly to get the appliances that we need. Ask for Katie at the Pro Desk. She has really done a great job.

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered a bathroom faucet that they had in stock for curbside pickup. Never received an e-mail telling me it was ready to be picked up. Tried to call and no one answered the phone, it finally disconnected me so I had to call back, tried a different department that time and finally got a young man who told me to just walk into the store and come to customer service to pick up the faucet. Kinda defeats the whole purpose of ordering online for curbside pickup.

Have had so many issues with this place. I can't even began to explain. Poor service. Employees don't have the knowledge on half the things in the store. They delivered a fridge to us that had a complete bent frame and a huge dent in it. We spent over 1300 for it and it was worth zero and didn't run properly and looked like it had been used. Not happy with this place and I'd advise people to go somewhere else for appliances or anything to do with connectors or couplers!

I want to like them, but their delivery and installation is awful. Tried to purchase a ceiling fan, but couldn't get their installers to come out to do the work. Twice bought appliances and no one bothers to call and let us know they've come in (but notes in our file that we were notified). When I call to find out if our refrigerator is in I can't get anyone to answer my call, asked for appliances, then delivery services, then a manager, the call just continues to ring back to the service desk. The delivery service is supposed to call the day before delivering, but never calls. Lowes has just really gone down hill in their customer service and business practices.

Hired Lowe's for Kitchen remodel. Spent over $40,000 and 17 weeks later. Still not done. As a veteran, I started going there because Home Depot didn't offer one. But now , I'll spend extra because Lowe's doesn't care about Veterans or any customer when it comes to quality. Todd Iott is now deemed the worst contractor of all time. Any other manager or decent human would return calls or show up to see the work. But not Todd. He is incompetent as they come. Never returned one call and put his employees in an awkward position to. Come and explain what Todd the Coward of a man would not do , call you back or fix his poor craftsmanship . His employees are easy to work with , but again Todd only collects the cash from Lowe's and is never to be seen again. Quality of work was average, with many segments of the project being redone due to the first pass level of quality of work. Again. Todd Itto never responded after several attempts to correct the issues. Make sure you ask who the contractor is first . And if his name is Todd Itto. DO NOT PROCEED!!! You will be calling the BBB like I have and paying a lawyer to try and get money back from a Lowe's agreement. He also will not pull a permit but charges you, the customer for one......!

Usually happy shopping here, but this past time was simply the worst. Word of warning if you plan on using a visa(or who Evers cars) gift card and it is for less then your total amount do not use the self scan. I did because it was the only lane open. The employee at the self scan was doing everything in her power to help but no manager would come help. I was standing there for 49 minutes before a man anger finally came by to help. I was going to leave but the machine was holding onto a Lowe's gift card I had already scanned.

This review is mainly based on the installation services they offer. We had them scheduled to come out and install hardwood a couple weeks back in an office. When the installers showed up they informed us that the Lowe's store employee had us buy the wrong underlayment, and also failed to tell us that the wood needed to be unwrapped and stacked for 72 hours prior to install. So they were unable to do the installation that day. My husband had to go back to the store and return and rebuy the correct underlayment. They also said they couldn't reschedule the install for over a week. This was holding up the project and our contractor, who had to put molding up. We eventually got them to push up the date, but we lost three days on the project. They still did not have the correct threshold piece they needed (despite us giving them all the floor heights ahead of time for this very reason) so we still are missing a threshold from the tile to the wood. The second install was yesterday for carpet in our basement which was just finished. Before the carpet was laid our walls were brand new, just painted. And well, the pictures speak for themselves of the "after". The install guy bragged about how quickly he got all the carpet laid, and downplayed the gouges on the wall and paint as "normal". I've seen a lot of carpet laid, but never this bad of a job! We marked in excess of 50 spots that were damaged. We now have to pay our contractor to go back through and repair and repaint the walls. Throughout the basement construction we purchased a LOT through Lowe's and had to make several trips back to the store for parts missing or defective on items we purchased. I've always been pleased with Lowe's in the past, but will certainly not use their installation services again.

Went today to have plywood cut Langton wise in 6 inch slabs. The guy cutting the wood cut each piece one to a half inch different, and each piece was a different width on each end. After he cut three sheets of plywood different lengths, and I pointed out that each one was different, he turned without saying a word, and walked away. Left and went to Lowes on Trenton Rd. The guy there did a perfect job. Each piece was even and all the same width.

Not really sure what going on here, but my credit card info was stolen and used at this location. $1000 even in transactions was purchased. I've never got a call back from the manager. I was wondering if anyone else has had this happen to them? Not happy with this location on the way they're handling this serious situation.
