Went to Woodhaven Lowes tonight, July 19, 2024 around 7 pm: only to recieve awful service again. Had the teller page someone to isle 40 three times and then I asked to speak to a manager. She had to be paged over the loud speaker saying it was a code 5. Spoke to her about it and in the meantime they finally got someone to answer the pages. Asked two young men for help they replied they did not work that department and would call someone. Apparently it took two of them to push one small cart. Last night we went there also only to be told by two young female employees they didn't know anything about the flooring, but thats the department they were covering and they had to to be paged to come to it.. We left there and went to Monroe store and found a young man, a new hire named Cody and ordered $3000. in flooring. Excellent young man and very respectful. Previously about 10 days ago we were in the Woodhaven store to purchase a ceiling fan, sign indicated the one we bought was on clearance sale. It rang up at full price, spoke to I think the manager, she said I was mistaken it was the same fan only in white. I said it shouldn't be on the brown fan tags that it was confusing and misleading. She was rude and condescending. Said it has a sku number on it, I may be a senior but I'm not stupid. Sorry to say most likely will not be shopping at Woodhaven store again. I mean Home depot is just down the road. And last but not least as we were leaving the Woodhaven Mi. store tonight, I saw two young employees standing together in the isle drinking what appeared to be shakes. Two young female employees, just walking up and down the isles. One of which we found out was supposed to be covering isle 40. And two more employees on cell phones. As I left I told the cashier who was sweeping the floors it's a good thing I'm not a secret shopper. I wish I was, they would recieve a failing mark.

We didn't realize Lowes in Woodhaven was closing at 8 p.m. when we walked in. We had to order tile for the bathroom. Sam was so helpful and courteous!! He helped us get the tile and was in stock!

I stopped in to buy a tool gift-knew exactly what I wanted. Everything was great until I tried to check out. There are no longer cashiers manning the check out lanes. I bought 168.00 worth of merchandise and tried to pay cash. After inserting 3 twenties, the machine would no longer accept my bills. Of course then a real employee had to step in after the computer locked up totally. After managing to get the computer to return my 3 twenties I gave up for the sake of brevity and gave the machine a credit card. I maintain my opinion that Lowes should keep at least one "human" cashier on staff. Elderly customers are going to avoid Lowes simply for the lack of cashiers alone.

Mike in lawn checkout helped me so much very quickly, spoke loudly and clearly to my grandpa so he could hear, took extra care to make sure the "quick loader" was there to help asap. We extremely curious and caring and has very bubbly attitude that made me want to come back and spend more money here instead of other locations and even competitors. Give Mike a raise and keep him in customer service as long as you can keep him :) this was 12:45pm Wednesday June 12

The other day my husband had to come and get materials to change out my mother in-laws shower. My husband spent alot of time in the Woodhaven Lowes and with the amazing help of Paul he was able to accomplish the job! He was very resourceful with information about what my husband needed to buy and also took a phone call from my husband to help him through putting the piece in the shower. We greatly appreciate his help and wanted to give him a shout out for how great he was to work with!

I went to pick up 7 bags of wood chips. I had a digital coupon which was very easy to use. The person was so kind and sent me to the garden area so they could load up my wood chips. I was shocked at the price; $2 each bag. It was a very easy, and enjoyable trip.

I entered store on April 13th about 12:30ish. Upon entering I asked a gentleman where the bathroom exhaust were. He stated isle 31. Thank you. Also I had old part to match. I’m not a skilled handyman. Upon reaching isle 31. I see the exhaust but need help matching up. There’s an appliance rep standing 1 isle away helping a customer. So I looked in isle 32,33,34,35, basically all isles around area we’re both standing in. No ones in any isle. I return to the appliance woman who’s helping a customer, I asked for help. She stated she’d page someone. Thank you. While helping her guest, another store rep walked up and the first rep handed the customer to the rep that just had walked up. I guess to finish up order. Anyway now original rep is free, but acting busy on computer, I ask are you gonna page someone?? She says yeah sure but walks around from the counter to check all isles for a rep in area. I told her I looked already when I first asked for help. She stated sometimes workers could be hiding down or behind things sometimes. Ok. She see no one. Now pages someone to area. She returns to desk where customer is now gone from rep that walked up and started helping. So now 2 store reps are standing 1 isle away from where I need help. I wait about 5 mins, they inform me someone’s on the way. About 5 more mins pass, the young lady says someone will be right over. Someone’s absent from shift in dept. my issue is the time searching for a backup in areas and calling 2 times and you’re right here available talking to another rep but trying to find help for 1 isle over. I get it. It’s not your dept. but the same young lady that I’m talking about with tatoo sleeve did me and my wife in the same manner about 2 weeks ago and there wasn’t any help in plumbing. She called for help standing 1 aisle away and no one came. She stood and watched us stand for 15 mins then said I can help you. Grabbed a faucet in 2 mins. So she knows the area as well. But meanwhile other customers can get service when she’s approached. She definitely needs customer service training for a corporation like that to have customers feel avoided and treated biased when entering her area. Corrections needed. Anyway after 20 mins an old gentleman can over while both reps still chatting. The old gentleman confirmed my part in 30 secs. But I spent 30 mins in store with bad customer service from appliance rep 1 aisle away. I did speak with Moose and he was definitely great. He’s the one directed me upon entering the establishment to aisle 31. He also discounted my item for inconvenience. That’s how business/customer interactions should be. Of none bias or intentional avoidance of certain people to help. Hopefully Moose has addressed this issue as I did speak with him in store. I thank you so much for the extended discount and understanding in this matter. All customers matter appliance lady. (Tattoo Sleeve) people care about how they are treated and not my first interaction with this worker. I’m not too thrilled but Moose was excellent although the encounter today was unacceptable
