Deshoun K. is a great sales guy, great attitude and very attentive and knowledgeable. I told him what I wanted and he knew what to do from there gave me a call I went to test drive the vehicle and I said yes to the vehicle , visited the next day all paperwork was ready to sign and no long drawn out waiting process drove off in my 2024 Blazer in no time at all. Several hours to install the missing chip that I was told would only take 15 minutes. Extended Warranty is through 3rd party company AMT corp in TX, look up there BBB ratings. Only 1 person in the finance department is very slow. The average time for oil change is 2.5 hours. Never even had any recalls repaired.I have great credit, so it takes a little more than just selling me a truck to make me happy. Your service dept is what builds loyalty. Not the brand.

I purchased a brand new Tahoe in May of 2022. My salesman Joe Flood did a good job and I have no problem with him, but I have a very big issue with Michael Bates Chevrolet service department in Woodhaven, Michigan. I was missing my Park assist chip for 1and 1/2 years. So when G.M. Finally notified me that the chip was now available at dealerships I made an appointment on the Bates website last week to bring my vehicle in today a week later. On the appointment it specifically said that I was going to bring it in for the chip, oil change, tire rotation per G.M. Recommendation and a safety recall. The young lady in the service department told me that the work would take a minimum of several hours. My appointment was for 10:00am and I went to the waiting room. At 11:30am the young lady came and got me and said that my Tahoe was ready. I thought that was quick. Reason it was so quick (Hour and a half) was because they only changed my oil!!! The service lady said that they would have to order my part, even though they should have ordered it a week prior because I was specific about that. Obviously they don't look on their own website!!! They didn't take care of my safety recall nor did they rotate my tires! I drove 46 miles one way for a DAMN OIL CHANGE!!!! That's 92 miles round trip. This is totally unacceptable, period!!!! I wonder if G.M. Knows about the poorest service department I have ever encountered. I will sure let them know.

I went to this dealership after going to quite a few different ones looking to finance a car. This place was honestly the best out of all of them. Madison was very helpful and accommodating, we were greeted by about 10 employees while waiting to test drive one of their vehicles and also we were asked if we wanted coffee or water, and offered us to sit in the massage chair. It was truly the most welcoming dealership I have ever been in and I will be back for my next vehicle.

If I could give them a zero I would. My car was hit when it was parked. I scheduled an appointment for an estimate. My husband took in my car for the estimate and the guy was rude. He told him to go sit and wait and never returned. A lady came and asked if anyone has helped him and he explained the situation. The guy that was rude told my husband he would have to leave the car for two weeks for an estimate. This is not what I was told over the phone. On the phone they said to bring it in and I could wait while they did the estimate.Who could possibly leave a car for two weeks for and estimate plus more time for the repairs.

Horrible dealership I scheduled an appointment for Monday they told me my truck would only be there for an hour but instead they kept for a week and didn't even inspect it. I went up there because I was tired of waiting for my service advisor to call me . when I get there I'm greeted by the general manager and she accused me of flashing a gun at the collision manager all because I told both of them that their customer service skills were terrible and I stand on that her name is Diane and his name is John both are Karen's it's cool though they just lost a custome. Diane called the cops because i told her I was scared for my life and I didn't want to be in a closed room with 2 white women who is accusing me of something that I didn't do. Cops came nothing happened ill be reporting this to Micheal Bates

This is a tremendously hassle free dealership. There customer service is phenomenal. I bought both my teenage daughters vehicles from this dealer and the vehicles are running just fine. My hats off to the owner Mr Bates. The salesperson Dave was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. My daughters love their vehicles. The 172 point inspection put me and my wife’s mind at ease. I wish I could give 6 stars. Very refreshing to find a dealership that will work with you.

I had visited another dealer And after getting all of my information I still had an issue that needed to be resolved which Which they did not offer any assistance with that and the amount of money down was a little more than I wanted to put down. After hearing some deals at Michael Bates Chevrolet I ended up calling and Diane answered the phone she was more than helpful listen to what was going got me pricing and the great customer service That would eventually lead me to Leasing my first car and over 17 years. This was a big deal for me and a big purchase I would recommend them anytime the customer service was exceptional from beginning to end.

Outstanding service! Brittany is the absolute best sales person I have dealt with. She went above and beyond to make sure I was happy, and was there every step of the way to answer any and all questions I had. She really made the whole process smooth! I will definitely be back!

They need to work on their communication. Bad experience with Clifford. He claimed to be transparent but was the complete opposite. I offered to bring a deposit to him the next day on the Blazer that I had picked out. He said it wasn’t necessary. Two days later he is calling and texting me at work asking when I’m bringing the money for the Blazer. What I thought was a good deal went bad as soon as I said I wanted it. I ended up going back months later and dealt with a different person. I had better results with this person but didn’t get my car delivered when it was promised. I didn’t even get a phone call saying why it wasn’t delivered. I gave them plenty of time then called the manager. I wouldn’t go back.

We live in Toledo, Ohio, about 30 minutes from Bates.Last week we had scheduled an appointment and it was confirmed.When we arrived-Car was not on lot-- Sales person we made an appointment with was not there--Sales staff could find no record of our appointment. They believe she used her personal email which they did not have access to.Granted Chevy Bolt EVs are in extremely short supply.But this is not an excuse for very poor customer service.

I was referred to Austin Moore from a friend of mine. I had a great experience from start to finish. He was super helpful and made sure to stay in contact with me the entire time. Trusting someone in sales can be a little intimidating but Austin was straight forward with me throughout the entire process.
