You would think that places that charge money for truck parking would be top of the line in quality of food, showers, etc. but nope, this place actually looks worse than other truck stops I've been to that don't charge for parking. I felt bad for the kid at the register because he seemed nice, but everyone else did not look too happy to be there. Hope the young man gets into a better job than here, doesn't seem like a healthy environment

Employees have always been nice to me here. The store (including showers and bathrooms) are old. Hopefully, some of the renovation money Pilot has will go here. They do charge for parking but, it is located in a great area if you need to drop your trailer and go shop, get nails done, go to the salon and, (my personal favorite) GET TO THE AIRPORT. It’s only 18 minutes from the airport. I usually park and leave. Even getting fuel here can be annoying.

I was at the flying J last night for almost 45 minutes trying to get the Gas Buddy app to work for an additional 5% off per gallon. One employee in. Particular even stayed past his shift time to assure we figured everything out! Five stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ his name was Doug A.K.A Fresh! I could not have imagined going through all of the trouble etc with out his help all the way through!!

The issue with this location is the blocking of internet signals so a truck driver is forced to purchase the Premium Flying J internet service when needing to stay at this location. Pilot Flying J advertises free wifi, the signal is so weak it cannot be used, and that's most locations. The only time the free wifi works is when standing inside the building, while doing laudry.I had to reset my driving clock, I was going to be there for 36 hours giving me more than enough time to talk with other drivers who also stated their signal for wifi was blocked as well. It's not enough that the prices on food, trucker essentials, i.e. laundry detergent (in a regular store the cost is $5.00 at Flying J its going to be $10-$14.00 for a small bottle) as all other products are OVER PRICED, now we are forced to pay for internet service. Living on the road is a lifestyle choice; family and friends live in fear when they do not hear from you on a regular basis, so you are left with no choice but to pay for internet service, even after paying the TV buffered more than not. It took me 2 hours to load photos from my laptop to my Google Drive. It did not matter if the driver has the 3G or the 5G network.Everyone needs to make money, Pilot Flying J has taken it to a level of greed that let's us know, through we are essential workers, we are taken advantage of.Makes me ponder the opportunity to stop driving and become a competitor with Pilot Flying J.To see the greed of the owner is disappointing to say the least.Truck drivers are not making the money people believe they are, especially right now. The money is with the freight brokers and they do not need Flying J.

This place is nasty. If you are going to charge for parking, how about cleaning all the garbage out of the lot? Looks like a city dump

Paid parking. $20 a day unless you fuel or buy stuff inside. You do get 4 hours free if you need to take a quick break. The store isn’t all that great but the iHop is!! It’s tight & compact & can be confusing. The lot can fit a lot of trucks. We park here on hometime. There’s a separate lot for car parking $50 a month and gated.

Paid parking, parking lot completely trashed... Partly flooded, don't get hungry after 5PM because your not any food after 5PM except for roller grill, though even that isnt appetizing, the buns were stale... Bathroom and staff were curtious at least... Other than that... Not a place to be spending a 34 hour reset unless your prepared. Clean the place up or don't charge for parking.

Felt so unwelcomed with the pay topark sign. Extremely trashy parking lot. Subway closed down bathrooms where closed. Wouldn't let me get a shower without my parking ticket, they should put up a sign to bring in your ticket to shower. I have had better....# Detroit downhill/dumpster ?

Even though we have to pay for EVERYTHING in this location (even to park your truck) employees aren’t interested in do their job. Greeted by the nastiest “pay to use restroom”Pictures speak by themselves (9/27/22 @noon)

Erika this Sunday morning you picked the right Truckers Wife. Your customer service skills need to be tailored and structured. I tried to offer you feedback only to be met with a combative attitude. You will try to spin this around and I will only say this, your counterpart who was assisting me prior to you indicated that I had been the nicest person yet to walk in and speak with her. So Pilot I would recommd mystery shopper's.

Lots of Semi parking. 24 Hour security. 75 gallons gets you in the Lot for free. Otherwise you pay for 24. The staff here is friendly. The shelves are stocked up. Restrooms are fairly clean. They also have an IHOP as their restaurant.

If it were possible to give a minus rating!!!First of all, this place shows its age, and no apparent updates have been made. Secondly, it's dirty and moldy. Thirdly, the evening guys, 2 of them, hate their job. Please tear this truck stop and rebuild a better one. The only plus is proximity to Detroit
