The Wyandotte Branch is the absolute worst financial institution I've ever dealt with! If you owe them money, they will call you continuously, email you continuously, and freeze your account. But they do not have the same hospitality to reach you if your account is due to be garnished from someone! Unbelievable! Customer care is pitiful! I will never have a direct deposit go into this credit union again! This is at least the 3rd time dealing with this. Sad!

Always an issue with this bank. Card limit doesn't allow me to withdraw more than $2k a day. Their system is always down so you can't make any purchases, withdraws, or deposits during that time. I deposited $3k in the ATM one time, it took my money and said the ATM was out of order. Had to wait a week for my money back. Just overall unreliable. Then when I call to ask questions just now, they acted inconvenienced and Michelle, the manager, told me to "find a new bank". Will do.

Took $300 out of my SAVINGS because i took to much money out of my savings.... Don't understand that logic. It's my money to save not theirs, I don't see why they think it's up to them what you can do with it. Told the lady that i have bills to pay and she didn't care. Most unhelpful place in michigan. Been here for YEARS and never had issues before until now. My advice? Take your money and run. You're better off somewhere else. These people don't give a single care in the world. They keep switching up their stories whenever I ask for my refund they promised me.

Terrible customer service. If you dont like your personal account information account balances, Social Security information being yelled across the room for every single person in the room to hear it I would strongly suggest picking a different bank, literally every single time I come in. They shout my personal account information across the room, and everybody can hear it. There’s absolutely no privacy. The response states that I’m going to a completely different credit union entirely. What is this lady talking about? I am going to the Michigan Legacy Credit Union in Wyandotte on Oak Street the official branch please you don’t have to lie your way out of a bad review. Further, the headsets are not always used the bank teller approaches you and usually yells Your personal information out. headsets are not used when entering the bank outside of certain circumstances.

Has the WORST customer service I have ever received! After being a customer of almost 25 years they send me a threatening letter when I’ve fallen on hard times and explaining to them. I hadn’t even been more than 20 days late on my car loan. I will be moving my business to another credit union immediately because since they haven’t been WySouth, it’s been DOWNHILL!

This one star rating is based off of my recent situation with this bank that I’ve been a member of (even though the name is changed multiple times) for the last 32 years. Michigan Legacy credit union customer service is at an all time low. Example- I had a large amount of small purchases, (20 to be exact) over a long weekend to include at the start of that weekend, a surgery, which put me out of commission until the next week. These purchases all through PayPal had came out of my account after the weekend and all in two days time. I was not financially prepared because I assumed it was an instant deduction but using PayPal it takes up to 3 days later after my purchases to deduct out of my account…but I have the “overdraft coverage” on my account just in case so everything was covered. 17 out of 20 of those purchases (small or large) had overdrawn and Michigan legacy charged me a $30 convenience fee for each transaction…So in a two day period, all of my purchases got deducted from my checking account, a total of 17 overdrew and each one added a $30 overdraft fee equaling $510 In just fees!!! The next day I seen this online on my account, I quickly put my account back in check, added cash, and I called Michigan legacy’s customer service, very polite and professional I explained my financial situation, and what I’ve been dealing with over the weekend with my surgery and was asking/hoping to get most, if not all of these $30 overdraft fees forgiven. The customer service rep told me there’s nothing she could do she could not forgive any. So I asked if she could speak with her manager and explain my situation, after a brief hold again I was told that according to her manager there’s nothing they could do it is bank policy. Finally I asked to speak with the branch manager directly, so I could better explain if needed. The branch manager listened to my excuses and reasons and apologies of why this happened….and now she was willing to forgive some..but would only refund 4 of the 17 charges because even though it’s bad it could be much worse then it is….also she’s had proceeded to lecture me about how many small purchases I had made though PayPal and how I should keep a better eye on my purchases and account balance. Not only was this branch manager for customer service, rude and completely out of line. She also was very unforgiving and not understanding, of a loyal, long time customer’s current situation and needs. By the way, this was the first and only time and all of my banking history has happened to me, but that didn’t seem to matter to them. Michigan legacy needs to revamp their policies and procedures, and maybe start being a little more understanding with our (the customers) money that pays their salary. I do not recommend this bank anymore to anybody I know until at least it turns back into a bank not a coffee shop like it is now.

Legit the worst possible bank you can go with. I am out of the country which they know and tried to pay my monthly DTE bill which have doing so for over 3 years now…They reversed the transaction for what ? No clue. So now I have to physically go pay my DTE bill for the next 12 months… thank you michigan legacy !!

Only been with them a few months.And insta regret even finding this place. Tried to get copy of my title lady at the office said go to SOS why would you come here. Then she just walked away..Called to find out how to pay online left 5 messages been over month not 1 call back.So I called my other credit union (Wxtra credit union) which is 10 of 10 to move loan to them. They said needed 10 day close-out statement from legacy. Well month later still can't get it they hold you histage...PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE
