I highly recommend AutoZone on 44th St. I walked in on a busy Saturday and they replaced my car battery on the spot, no appointment needed, and it turned out to be a difficult replacement as my battery was highly corroded. Wylie replaced my battery and he was very knowledgeable and did an excellent job. Both employees were very nice and helpful to me and several other customers who came in while I was there. Superb customer service.

This rating is for the 28th St, Wyoming, MI location after my trip there earlier this week. I normally prefer to shop at AutoZone.I had bought 2 Mobil 1 oil/filter bundles for 2 vehicles and accidentally grabbed two 0w20 jugs instead of one 0w20 and one 5w20. I thought it would be easy to go exchange jugs.The guy at the counter was super nice, but I noticed that he returned the 0w20 oil at the sale price and was going to charge me full price for the 5w20 jug, so I spoke up. He kept saying that is the only way to do it and I'd have to pay for a bundle to get that sale price! I was thinking that he must not know how to do his job and I was going to pay for it - I can go anywhere I think and exchange something for no extra charge.I decided to drive back home so I could return the oil filter with the oil just to buy it back and not get charged an extra $10 or so. But wait.... when I tried to get that same oil filter to buy back, I couldn't because AutoZone policy is to dispose of them whenever they are returned. I am so disturbed by that whole experience.

Amazing! I regret not asking the man who helped me what his name was, but he really was just the absolute best!I’ve had issues with corrosion on the battery in my 2015 subaru legacy for almost a year now. I’ve been putting off getting a new battery and just keep cleaning it off every now and then. Until today, when I opened my door to get in but not even my dashboard would light up (car couldn’t even attempt start when I tried). After jumping it at home, I called this store to ask if they would help install the new battery after I bought it. They told me that it depends on the car, but to come in so they can look to see if they could do it.Once I got there, it was maybe 10-15 minutes max before I had a brand new battery installed and ready to go!

We stopped in and there was an employee named Luis. This employee started up an argument with us and never tried to help us. Never go there.
