Pretty useless diesel pumps that don’t read cards properly. Haven’t been able to fill up on diesel for weeks.

Half of the time their pumps just spit out ‘see cashier’ recently, even though I’ve been getting deisel upwards of 3x a week for years…of the managers I’ve seen there, they couldn’t be bothered to help the most likely underpaid and over stressed cashiers. Today I got a coffee and the cashier didn’t have any change in her drawer and she dropped half the roll and almost left right there, manager couldn’t have batted an eye. Goes to show the state of things I guess.

If you pay with a 100 bill and you are going to pay $30-$40 in gas, they want you to put $50 on gas no less ..

Love this station. We use them for our fleet vehicles at work. This is also my personal go-to station when I'm in the area. Cashiers are knowledgeable, friendly, and keep the place very clean. 5 stars all day long.

Great locally owned and operated convenience store. The employees wear masks and the mandate orders are on the door requiring customers to do the same. They also installed hand sanitizers at the fuel pumps.

Beware of this store. Masks and social distancing are NOT enforced! Every morning the store is packed to the gills and not a single person is wearing a mask. The employees behind the counter don't even wear them.

I was approached by a lady who I believe is the Manager. In front of other customers, she accused me of digging in the trash and she will ban me from the property. She said that every time I come in the store, she sees me digging in the trash. She didn't say anything when I was there yesterday, If I was a secret shopper, she would a poor rating... She may need Customer Service training...

Brenda is a disaster. I just tried to return glass bottles purchased at this location and Brenda proceeded to scream "NO GLASS BOTTLES" several times across the store as I entered. I started to explain that this establishment sells the bottles which I am returning, clean and labeled for return, and tried to ask her how I return these. Brenda kept yelling NO GLASS BOTTLES. I talked to another employee who was present who apologized. According to The Michigan Beverage Containers Initiated Law of 1976, commonly known as the Bottle Bill or Bottle Deposit Law, Michigan Compiled Laws Sections 445.571 through 445.576, a store that sells returnable bottles must accept the returns of those same bottles. I tried to explain this to Brenda and she cut me off right away yelling "I DON'T CARE"! The other customers in line were just as shocked as I was. I asked why she was yelling and she said it was because I was yelling. I told her I wasn't yelling and started to walk away to get my bottles she wouldn't accept, and she ordered me out of the store. She then proceeded to rant about me to the other customers while I walked out. Brenda was irate and intolerable from the moment I entered the store and I am not going back if she's working there. I live nearby and frequent this store often, never having an issue in the past, as most of the tellers are pleasant to deal with. I'm not sure what Brenda's anger was spurred from but am reporting this to the MI Attorney General for violation of the Bottle Bill and to JH Family Stores for Brenda's demeanor and hostility.
