They really need to take the PRO out of their name and just call themselves a source! Professionals actually work to solve issues when they arise.This company does not stand behind the products they so cheerfully get you to purchase from them. Two years into a new construction home with 2 people living in it and this is a product failure. The company had a 50 year residential warranty on this product and partly why we choose to use it. The company says it's an installation issue which the builder and installers disagree and have proof it is a product defect. ***source office manager Mandy will not return calls or respond to emails. Nothing but crickets. She will not even respond to the builder or installer of this project and this is ***sources customer base ?.This is the type of customer service you get from ***source of Grand Rapids!

I hade a really bad experience with this place! I was referred to this company by Premier granite and stone! I was looking for a quartz countertop, subway tile backsplash and also get and estimate to reface my cabinets in my kitchen! I set up an appointment on a Saturday and got in the same day. The guy who helped me was very friendly and helpful. We spent about 45 min looking at quartz countertops , subway tile and looking at cabinets ! I found what I liked and he said he would contact me in the beginning of the next week and he never did!! Also he told me that the lady that works in the Cabinet area would also be contacting me and she never did! Almost 2 months later and nothing:(( Very disappointing and very unprofessional:(( I will never go back there! And I will never refer them to my family and friends:((

I write this review nearly 9 months post our experience with ProSource and a Highly Recommended "flooring installer (ProSource referral). I waited to provide some time and distance to have the opportunity to reflect and assess with greater objectivity upon what was largely a costly, challenging and emotionally difficult experience.In taking a degree of ownership and accountability I highly recommend you do your homework. You owe it to yourself to take the time to complete due diligence regardless of the resource you select to partner with for your home remodeling and/or new build. Don't rush due to initial perception of potential cost saving for either products or labor/installation as sometimes one gets what one pays for. Also, consider prior and current supply chain issues which may impact choices and ultimate product selection.As it was stated to us, "don't think you're the first or last people to have poor flooring and/or poor installation". Sadly, we experienced both. The message is quite correct; but frankly, no one wishes to "be the one". And, should it transpire that you indeed "are the one", you'll want to hear and feel the support of both the product supplier and installer; who was referenced by ProSource--as a highly recommended, top installation contractor.Assure yourself that the installer will use approved products and techniques during installation which will not void guarantees despite whether the product sourcer and installer feel "is best"; (if installation guidelines state "no glue"; it means no glue as warrantee will be voided). Personally oversee the work at regular intervals to catch and communicate the installation of bad flooring and intervene with the process immediately. The installer placed nearly 80% of the flooring with nearly 60% of that being defective. Had we not evidenced this and stopped installation the installer would have completed the work; expecting full payment. Interestingly enough, it is common practice that the flooring manufacturer and/or distributor will reimburse the installer both time and money in instances of installation of defective flooring. Although, in instances where the installer uses unapproved techniques for installation this practice can become even muddier for the purchaser. "HUH"!! Since when does someone receive payment for knowingly delivering substandard product and work?While ProSource did Re-order and provide the entire amount of flooring to complete the work; the installer begrudgingly removed the defective flooring and installed the new product. On the day Re-work was to commence the installer asked us "isn't there any way you can live with this?" To which we responded, "no, would you?" Despite providing an air cooled environment, cold water, and a meal for the installation crew the owner of the installation company was surly and gruff throughout the Re-installation effort.In the end; your standards and what you're willing to "live with" likely far exceed the standards of those doing the work. Assure yourself that you'll receive what you've paid for; quality, timely products and installation which endure and stand the test of time.

Abby has been incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and patient throughout the process of building our new house. Though I have been around the trade my whole life, I never built a house myself before. The guys and gals at Prosource are friendly and customer service driven. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else! Thank you all.

Had a great experience here. Working on a building project in Indiana but didn't have enough time last time we were there to look at everything at the Indiana ProSource location, so we called the Grand Rapids location to see if we could finish making some selections. We were able to make an appointment that fit our day off and received friendly and helpful service throughout our visit. Each location is a franchise so I don't even think the staff here earns a commission if we pick things that will eventually be ordered in Indiana, but the staff member was very understanding and remained generous with his time throughout our appointment. Can't speak to quality of materials yet, but thankful for the positive browsing experience!

I'm sure they have plenty of great products - and if you purchase one of those, you'll probably be very happy. But if you get a lemon, don't expect them to help you out. We spent $16,000 on new engineered hardware floors for our main floor. One of the selling points was a 10-year manufacturer's warranty. Within two years, the finish started coming off throughout our kitchen and family room. I asked for help and sent pictures. First they refused to do anything because they said they saw some dog hair in my pictures. Then when I pushed the issue, they finally (nine months later) sent a salesperson who posed as an inspector and said the problem was how we mopped the floors. I pushed again, and ProSource finally said they would send a real inspector, but ONLY if I agreed to pay $200 if that inspector came to the same conclusion. I agreed, the real inspector basically said it was wear and tear from kids, etc., and now I'm cutting a check to ProSource for this colossal waste of time. So in other words, after spending thousands of dollars on new flooring, it took almost an entire year, plenty of emails AND two hundred bucks to get a straight answer from this company. And I still have shoddy floors. Spend your money somewhere else.
