Home Depot sold me a defective refrigerator, when I try to contact them (took two days of calling to get through to anyone) they say that it was a special order (it wasnt, it was right from their floor stock) and that they cant help. I reach out to the manufacturer, and they say taht if I am returning it then Home Depot has to take it back. Im stuck with a defective refrigerator and nobody is willing to take the responsibility they OWE me (warranty, legal stuff). They would rather screw me over than help. Thats Home Depot.

Deliberately misleading on prorated refunds for returning a tool early. Twice by employees I was explained that if I returned it early, I would be prorated a certain amount based on how early it was returned.In both cases, they inaccurately explained the details on what determines the proration, and mislead me into returning the tool 5 hours early under the impression I would be prorated a 4-hour time frame, back onto my card.That was entirely inaccurate and caused me to waste a trip and return a tool early to pay full price, which is almost 1/3rd of the cost of the tool itself, just for 2 days use (one day, if you think you’re going to get money back by returning it early).I’ll never rent anything from that store again, and as a professional carpenter, I’ll always reconsider purchasing any product from the Home Depot ever again. I don’t appreciate being consistently mislead and waste valuable building time due to employee incompetence.I do not recommend anyone rent from here, there are other locations in town that have more affordable rates and better policies in general. I made a big mistake trusting the Home Depot. May never spend a dollar there again.

I ordered two ryobi impact wrenches for my son and for myself. The site showed three in stock at the 54th street grand rapids location. I ordered them from the site and made the nearly 60 mile drive down to pick them up. To my surprise they didn't have any in stock and couldn't have them shipped to me or let me know when they would be in stock. The female at the pickup/customer service desk was a B*tch! I was calm and cool at first but once she said "you could have called before hand". And "you have a great evening sir" with a smug a** grin on her face. What a condescending little witch! The kid working the counter was polite and decent but that smart assed girl needs to not be any sort of customer service position. I asked if they had anything that was basically the same thing by ryobi because I have a lot of ryobi cordless tools and the one plus battery system works with them all. She basically said she had no idea. To end, they canceled my orders and I'll get a refund in 3-5 days per the paper I got. So, in at the end of the day I drove 120 miles, wasted gas that's still $3.50 a gallon. Not to mention over 2.5 hours of my time.. I will NEVER again go to a home depot. I'll stick with menards and Lowe's. Home Dumphole can suck it. I know one customer doesn't mean crap to them but I'll bad-mouth them any chance I get to all the folks I know.

Will NEVER shop at Home Depot again. they failed to deliver my $600 dishwasher, and, now, they refuse to refund my money. The store manager doesn't return phone calls, and, the corporate stooges refuse to give out the district managers name or phone number. My next stop is thru small claims court.

I have a store credit over $150.00 in my wife's name, she is in the hospital and Home Depot REFUSES to honor the card even though I had my ID and we have the same address. NEVER AGAIN will I shop there after spending thousands in the last couple years. I will close my Home Depot credit card also.

Home Depot likes to give you messed up material and they don’t take ownership for it. Managers are horrible. Their staff also stereotypes you. Their manager put his hand in my husband face. Any human would react to that. My husband became super upset. He raised his voice rightfully so. As a result the manager called the police on him. Nothing became of the situation. Came in a couple days ago to rent a push mower. Process was quick, easy and the mower worked perfectly. I don't know the employee's name who helped me but he was very knowledgeable and friendly.

I had to give it one star because that's the lowest you could give... they were rude in knowledgeable of their products and where they were located... when I asked to speak with a manager I was told Jordan was at lunch. Which was not true he finally came to my aide and was very unconcerned and not friendly at all. With 2 house and my business I have spent well over $50000 only to be treated as such

When I had to return an appliance tonight what could have been a very bad experience ended up being a good one. Thank you to Cassidy, Deborah, and Tommy for handling the situation professionally and solved the problem as efficiently as they could. Great customer service. I could spend all day in this place. Grandville is usually my go to store (closer) but this one gets the job done too! & Darrel you are an awesome cashier! Speedy, friendly.. Great customer service all around.
